Bitter, flavorless, and not fresh
I had high hopes for this, but I found it disappointing. It tasted very bitter and flat, had no complex flavor notes or even just a little bit of pleasant taste. I don't know if it was overprocessed, low quality, or just not fresh. There was a June 2019 date on the package but I can't tell if it was a packaging date or expiration date. In any case it didn't "bubble up" like fresh coffee does when you pour the water in. I love good-quality Brazilian coffee, but this is not it. It makes me sad if someone thinks this represents the best of what Brazilian coffee can offer. I couldn't finish the package, and it tasted so bad I also didn't even want to give it away.
