Spacious, Safe, & Affordable
After doing extensive research on ALL available carseats, comparing prices, and seeing pros & cons of all of them- I decided this diono was for us. My child looked squished in her bucket seat. Her feet and legs were hanging out of the end, and she seemed like she had no shoulder space to fully relax in her seat. Well the diono has changed all of these space issues while still allowing her to remain rear facing. Its a plus that it comes with a cup holder bc who likes to hand their baby a cup while driving, especially when alone.?! This seat is VERY STURDY, & HEAVY! I love it! And the fabric is thick! No one cheaped out on any part of this seat!

Great for extra room and easy installation
You can easily fit three across in any car. I've tried in both a sedan and my mid size SUV. In my mid size you can put two across and leave pleanty of room on the side for an adult size person. They're also durable. I've had to wash mine a couple times because of the kids getting sick or leaking a diaper. They always wash well. I haven't put them in the dryer so I don't know what kind of affect that might have. However, they sun dry quickly so there hasn't been a need. Install is also nice especially if they're forward facing. The laches just snap into the anchors in the seat of the car. The only thing I would like them to improve is the comfort. The cushioning under the seat is a little thin. Overall though, it's a great product.

Overall Great Car Seat
As a parent of four, I have purchased many car seats. This one is the best so far. Very sturdy, comfortable car seat. Even as a seasoned parent, it was a bit complicated to figure out at first though. Definitely not the car seat you want if you need to move it frequently. Very heavy. Fits great in the middle of a mid size SUV rear facing. Could not install behind a seat rear facing unless the seat was up uncomfortably close to the dash or steering wheel. With a ten year expiration, definitely worth the money.

Well worth the price for what you get
Car seat is huge and heavy, but very sturdy and safe. Comes with quite a bit of padding, which I'm sure is more comfortable than my son's infant carseat, but I removed the buckle pads for near the neck.We were worried that this carseat would not fit in the back of a 2013 Altima with a booster seat and an infant car seat (Graco Snuglock) in place. It fits! We have it installed in the rear middle and there is still plenty of room for the front seats (we are 5'3 and 5'8). My oldest said it is kind of hard for him to buckle up with this in the center beside his booster, but he can do it.

Great protection & fits 3 across in compact car!
My daughter has a one year old & is expecting twins. She & her husband drive compact cars (Chevy Cruz models). When I started researching new car seats, most articles suggesting switching to SUV's. I researched further, and only two car seats met the dual criteria of fitting three across in their cars and being currently available in the US market. I chose this one. Today my son-in-law took them to the local fire department so a certified car seat technician could install them. His first reaction was that no way could he install three across in that car. After successfully installing them, his tune changed, saying they were the best planned out and constructed car seats he's ever seen!

I love it!
I love Diono in general. All 4 of my kids have used them. My older 3 have RXTs. This is way better. I love that the headwings are gone. I also love that the seat cover is more like a slip cover so the edges don't pull up like they do on the RXTs. It is also easier to get off for washing. It's the same in other ways though. They're still heavy, they still have steel frames. They still last for a long time. Still slim enough to fit 3 across. Also still too long to adequately fit into some vehicles in the rearfacing position. So make sure you have a lot of space behind the seat where you want to install this. The angle adjuster is great, but it can be annoying.

Infant insert is odd size. Better for toddlers and those big enough for forward facing.
This seat is VERY heavy duty and seems super sturdy. Unfortunately though it wasn't quite right for my 9 month old. Though he can hold his head up on his own, he still likes to nap in the car. This seat didn't really support (hug) him enough for that. The infant insert is very odd shaped. Like it seems like it would be okay for a short squatty baby maybe?? Plus installing this thing rear facing is tough because the back rest is so much heavier than the seat part and the legs seem like they might puncture your seats in the car if you don't have a good seat protector under it. Not sure that I would recommend this for rear facing aged toddlers/babies but seems like it would be an awesome booster seat!Though the product itself didn't work for us, the customer service was great! They immediately approved my return request and of course didn't charge me a restocking fee for "being used" just because I opened the box and tried my baby in the seat. (another seat I tried from a different seller on here did *eye roll*) Somehow the buckle pad slipped out of the packaging when I returned it and instead of them making a big fuss about it or charging me for it, they asked if I had it, I found it, and they sent me a label to mail it back to them. I dropped it in the mail the next day and they immediately sent my refund. Even their correspondence was polite and helpful. I just really wish I could have found what I needed with them because I would love to help businesses like this over some of the others I've had to deal with on here.

Why did I not buy this car seat YEARS ago?!!!
I love this car seat! Love it. We downsized cars But still needed 8 seats so we needed a car seat that took up as little space as possible. This car seat is amazing. It’s HEAVY duty. It’s cushy. It’s cute! It folds up (which is a huge bonus since we are flying with it). I am so bummed I didn’t have this car seat for our older 5 children! Love it.

No complains about the seat, but can any company make easy to follow instructions?
Pretty good seat, 100 times better than Safety 1st. I wish the instructions were easy to read and follow, a start taken away because of this.
