Do these color paints have lead in them?

Hi, the paints do not have lead in them. They conform to ASTM safety standards

Can these blocks be drawn on with colorful permanent markers?

These have a finish that likely won’t allow an even marker coloration. That’s not to say a kid couldn’t leave marks on it.

Do these have any chemical smell or paint smell?

I had not noticed any chemical smell or paint smell when playing with the blocks along with my grandson. When I read your question I went to the blocks and tried real hard to detect a smell of any kind but there was just no smell at all to them. Hope this helps.

Is there anyone that can give an exact count of how many of each type of block? I need a specific amount of each and am trying to see if it can work.

No , just read item description, how many pieces in it .
