Monster High: Freaky Fusion [Blu-ray]

Such a good movie, perfect for monster high loving kiddos

This movie was surprisingly great. I wasn't planning on liking it since the freaky fusion dolls kind of bug me. But it's a GREAT movie! And the message is even better. It includes a whole host of Monster High characters, and really highlights their personalities. This movie teaches us about who Frankie's grandfather is (Victor Frankenstein), and we learn about Robecca Steam's dad (Hexiciah Steam) and his great importance to Monster High School. It is a really interesting movie, and it also explains the dual hybrids like Nathan Rot, Avia Trotter, Bonita Femur, and more. My daughter's favorite character is Sirena Von Boo, although she plays a minor role. The ghouls learn about accepting each other's differences (which is already a main theme for Monster High). I really liked this movie. I wish we would have purchased it instead of renting it. It will make the christmas gift list, for certain.

This is definitely one of the more fun and cute Monster High movies so far. As someone who wasn't a big fan of the Frights, Camera, Action movie; I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this movie was to watch. The character interaction is hilarious, and the fused ghouls were a delight. Ghoulia was particularly a highlight when killing time in the catacombs. Overall, Monster High movies work best when they have a good variety of personality types all dealing with a problem together. Having the fused ghouls made for even more clashing personalities to interact with each other and made for a fun ride.

My daughter just loves all things Monster High. And I love that there's a line of toys and movies that teach the values I try to instill in my children: that being unique is something to be cherished, that acceptance is a way of life, that flaws make us special and are nothing to be embarrassed about, that diversity and foreign heritage is interesting, and that everyone is important and beautiful in their own way. With all the crap that is on TV I am so glad someone is still making something I will let my children watch. And my son enjoys it too. :0)

I’ve loved this movie from the first time I watched it back when it came out. Unfortunately I never got ahold of the dvd until I purchased from here, and I was so excited to fall in love with it again. The movie worked well for the most part, but there were quite a few scratches in the disk. Unfortunately those led to a few parts of the movie skipping. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but it was disappointing to say the least.Fun tidbit: my dvd originally came from a library.

If you're looking for a fun, funny and entertaining movie to watch with your granddaughters or daughters ages 6 to 10 years old, you will not be disappointed with this movie.On a more personal note, this is the kind of movie where you can really interact with each other while watching the movie, for instance: what do you think is going to happen next, what do you think she's really saying, what would you do instead?This is the kind of movie where it is more fun interacting with your kids than just watching the movie..

I have two nieces who are Monster High mad and have over 30 Monster High dolls and playsets at my house for them to play with when they visit along with tons more that I have bought them over the last few years (for at their own homes) and so I am no stranger to the world of Monster High. My son absolutely loves watching the Monster High films and so I've recently bought a few of these discs for him and he loves them.This is not just a single DVD case with two discs in but is actually the two single full DVD's including their own cases and comes with them packaged together in a cardboard slip case. So when buying this set you are actually just buying the two separate DVD's as a bundle pack.Scaris City of Frights has an approximate run time of 59minutes and the film is about how Clawdeen Wolf and the Ghouls travel to Scaris for Clawdeen to compete to win an apprenticeship with the legendary fashion designer Madame Ghostier. The film introduces four new characters (well they were new at the time the film was released); Skelita Calaveras, Jinafire Long, Catrine DeMew and Garrott du Roque. Alongside Clawdeen's main story and the twist this reveals there is also a couple of side stories with the boys missing their Ghoulfriends and Frankie, Rochelle and Ghoulia seeking out her lost love Garrott Du Roque. Another brilliant film from Monster High which teaches many lessons including being true to yourself.Freaky Fusion has an approximate run time of 1hour 10minutes and the film is about how while the Ghouls are helping Frankie learn about her Scaritage for the BiteCentenial they discover a time portal and travel back to when Monster High first opened. While travelling back to the future there is an accident and the portal ends up fusing some of the Ghoulfriends together (Draculaura and Robecca become Dracubecca, Cleo and Toralei become Cleolie, Lagoona and Jinafire become Lagoonafire and Clawdeen and Venus become Clawvenus). The Ghouls must learn how to work together in their newly formed fusions with the help of the new Hybrid students in order to save the school and ultimately save Frankie when she burns out trying to save them. The film introduces the new Hybrid students; Neighthan Rot, Avea Trotter, Sirena Von Boo and Bonita Femur and teaches many lessons including working together.A brilliant double pack of two brilliant DVD's which are both rated Universal. As I said above my three year old is fascinated with the Monster High girls from watching my nieces with them over the last few years and he has now watched the films a few times (well a lot of times!). There all mild scary elements in both of the films but I wouldn't say there was anything really unsuitable in there for a younger viewer unless they are a bit sensitive to monsters or giant Frankenstein machines. A brilliant film set for any Monster High fan and not too bad to have to watch as an adult either!

Fantastic value, brilliant movies! A hit with myself as well as my 7 year old daughter who is monster high mad!Id spent ages trying to find City of Scaris in uk format and really struggled to find it at an acceptable price. I even ordered a Spanish one which I never received!This was perfect and the smile on my girl's face was worth the search!

Fab double set, paid the same price for this as I would have just for Freaky Fusion and Scaris is difficult to get hold of too, highly recommend and my daughter loves it.

This has been bought for a Christmas present for my daughter who loves monster high. It arrived in good time, the package was good.
