Great blades for you balsa plane they stay sharp for a long time works great on many different places that you need to remove wood from your leading edges to trailing edges to just smoothing out high spots on your fuselage,tail surfaces you name it .i have built three balsa planes with just one blade and yes I have used it many times during the build

I used it to shave and shape balsa wood. Blade must be very sharp and set on the smallest setting available. If not it will jump around and can ruin your project.

Not sexy but these blades seem to do a nice crisp job on balsa wood. I'm looking forward to using these blades more and will update their longevity.

If you are a hobbyist, and own a razor planer, you will eventually need replacement blades. I build balsa model airplanes, and the razor plane is necessary for shaping leading edges and such. These blades cut well, which is to be expected. I'm not sure why they are classified as Toys, however. I would not let children play with them.
