Great
I've used 3 chili oils from this brand and love all three. They add amazing flavor and vary on heat level. This is the lower level for heat of the ones I use.

Good stuff
Lao Gan Chili Oil with Fermented Soybeans is the milder cousin of their gum-searing hot and spicy sauce. For us who can't abide the heat, this is the tasty way to go. I just ordered two bottles, but unfortunately one of them had a loose lid. Lots of chili oil leaked out into the box. Since this item is not eligible for replacement, I'm out ten bucks. But I'll order another, it's that good. Gotta stay stocked!

Best tasting black bean sauce!
After trying another brand, I was very happy to find this available on Amazon! Some brands have an overwhelming amount of salt and I think are meant to be used just a spoonful at a time. With this brand, you can use 1/4 - 1/3 jar in a big pan of stir fry, enough to get really wonderful flavor from the fermented soybeans and the chili oil.

Spicy and delicious
I put this in omelets, and on hoagies. Those of you concerned about the expiration date, remember this is a fermented food. I mean, it's not gonna' go bad. My hubs loves it in said omelets as well as sometimes mixed in with some bean dip to spice it up.
