I picked up the Corsair RM1000x at a great price to handle some serious hardware demands, and it has been an absolute champion. This unit has seamlessly powered both my previous power-hungry RTX 3090 and my current RTX 5080 without a single hitch or power instability issue. It handles transient power spikes like a breeze, thanks to the updated ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. Installation was incredibly smooth. The flexible, modular cables are designed beautifully and fit extremely easy right into the back and shroud of my Cooler Master H500 case. Even with a large mid-tower setup, routing everything neatly took no effort at all. One of the biggest unsung perks of this unit is its compatibility with a simulated sine wave. Many high-end modern PSUs with tight Active PFC can be incredibly finicky and trip or shut down when a UPS switches to a simulated/stepped sine wave battery backup. This Corsair PSU handles it gracefully, giving me total peace of mind during quick power blips. It operates near-silently, offers flawless power delivery, and provides incredible value for the performance. If you need a reliable 1000W foundation for flagship-tier hardware, this is an excellent device that I highly recommend.

So far so great! I was having some issues with my new graphics card failing and after some research realized I needed to upgrade my PSU. This one was at a great price and was probably more power than I technically needed, but after installing it out works great and my video card doesn't crash anymore. I also like that this PSU has a dial to turn up or down the fan speed manually if I choose or let the fan operate on its own. On it's own it's super quiet, I would even say silent most of the time. The cables that came with it were long enough that I could hook them in outside if the PC Case. If I had one little complaint, it would be on the cables themselves, they could use better indication for what they are or plug into. Very satisfied so far with this product!

Upgraded from a Corsair 650 RMe to this for stability with my RTX 5060Ti as I was a bit worried about power spikes in some of my games. This PSU has a fan switch (I leave it set to off), the fan will still come on if the PSU gets hot but that has not happened yet. Gone are the days of whirring fans on PSUs that's a win right there. I had no issues installing it and the modular cables are the same as the 650 RMe so no need to change them out. Although I did swap out the GPU cable out of caution. All in all it does the job and does it quietly, which is nice. Recommended, would buy again.

I am told by web sites I trust that this is a reliable power supply, and I've been using Corsair power supplies for years without problems. This model has individually-sleeved cables which look great and are easy to manage. This model supports three pciE cables for high power AMD video cards (I'm not willing to risk melting my video card with a 12-volt high power connector), so I'll stick with this model.

This is the perfect PSU. I bought this to power my 9070xt/9850x3d build and it works flawlessly. There are plenty of 8-pin PCIE cables to power my 9070xt, which needs 3, and a fourth for to power my iCue hub. This is a great buy for a high end system.

Work as intended! The noise level is almost none!! It’s really worth it if you are having the 50 series of rtx!
