what kind of problem did you have with the cafetiere? I have had this for a while and haven't come across any problems

It is stainless steel inside, I don't know if it contains nickel. It is one of the best cafetieres I have had keeps coffee hot, very sturdy much better than the glass ones that my husband keeps breaking
