My wife has Parkinson’s and so moving about the house on her own is difficult. She sometimes falls 3 - 4 times a week and up until recently, I’ve had to pick her up on my own or else call EMA. But, at 69, I’m not as strong as I used to be. We purchased this lift chair about a month ago and I’ve already used it at least a dozen times. It’s very easy to use and it’s also much safer for both of us. It’s a little heavy and a little pricy, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s paid for itself many times over. I highly recommend this item.

Chair was easy to assemble with clear instructions but did require a little muscle due to weight of chair. That said that's what makes it sturdy. The operation was smooth and slow for safety reasons. Chair cushions were good quality. The 4 wheels make moving room to room easy and the 2 front ones have push pedal locks. Satisfied with product and a good value.

My parents are both 90 and living on their own. In the past month both have fallen and had to call 911 or have someone come and help them into a chair. I found this lift chair and a week after it arrived we used it for the first time. What a difference. We leave it set up and close by. It is sturdy and the four wheels make it easy to move where needed. He is as secure with the arm rests down although a belt was available. The padding is comfortable. It hasn’t had to be recharged yet. An absolute must have if you’re caring for someone that is at risk for falling. Worth every penny.

When lifting a person from the floor, this device pitches them forward. They never make it up. This is a total waste of money, and a crime, considering how helpless people are depending on it to actually work, in a time of great need. Don't buy it!!

I really wanted to give this four and a half stars based on an issue I’ll explain below but otherwise, it deserves five. The chair came a little sooner than promised which was great as I really needed it. It was boxed very well and padded with closed foam which made it arrive in perfect shape. Upon operation, I found the lift mechanism to work very well and, contrary to some complaints in the reviews, it is not overly slow. I found it to raise at a good rate - not too slow or too fast. Now for the 1/2 star…. I read in the reviews several people complaining about how hard it was to install the arms (the only assembly step necessary). I thought, how hard can it be to put in a couple of screws. Well, I found out. I got one side on with much difficulty but found the other arm impossible to line up the holes in the arm to the mounting bracket. The circled area in my attached picture of the arm rest butts up to the hinge mount which facilitates raising and lowering the arms. This area was just a tad too long and would not let the arm slide in far enough for the holes to align. Fortunately, I have a grinder in the garage and ground just a little off the edge which made installation easy. If yours won’t align, this is the fix. ONE OTHER IMPORTANT THING. Upon purchase, I was charged $29.70 tax. This is a medical device and should be tax exempt. After contacting Amazon about this, the tax was refunded. So if you get charged tax, dispute it.

This chair has been perfect for my elderly aunt. Setup was super easy — I only had to screw in the armrests, and it was ready to use. The chair feels sturdy and comfortable, and the wheels make it easy to move between rooms. I also love that there are pockets on the back to store the controller, battery, and charger — it keeps everything organized and within reach. The battery came fully charged, so it was ready to use right away.

I recently ordered a handicap lift chair and unfortunately it arrived damaged. The box looked like it had been hit by a forklift, top corner of the chair became a sharp area that could easily cut your hand if you weren't careful. So I reached out to both amazon and hongfeng store and the customer service was amazing. They responded quickly to all my emails, the way hongfeng store took care of the issue really stood out. They made the process easy and stress free. Great communication and excellent support. I would definitely recommend them.

The chair arrived earlier than expected. One wheel came damaged, but the seller responded and refunded me. Coincidentally, the next day I used it to help a sick person who had fallen, and it made the situation much safer and easier. Very useful product despite the issue.
