Great product for a great price
This is a great product. Its nice that it doesn't have a enforced subscription model! Very good for the money! The device comes with a memory card slot which is secure behind the mount. The video quality is very good and also easy to download through the Eufy app. The mount is robust and fits nicely on the door frame with a wide angle lense with an option tilt bracket for corners.I did have a slight trouble connecting it to my 5ghz WiFi at first. This was fixed by disabling 5Ghz and using 2.4Ghz whilst on setup. Also make sure to disable smart channels as it can conflict with setup.

Worth its weight in gold!
As an edit, clarification on the video quality. Its slightly stuttery on live viewing, saved clips are perfect.Early days yet but definitely worth it. I would recommend the 128gb micro sd for this of you want to record anything, we have a 32gb in at the moment just until new sd arrives.Bought for a sense of security whilst im at work for my wife who is bed bound to try and alleviate anxieties of vulnerability and she loves it shes now neighbour watching lolEasy to set up. Easy to adjust. Battery life is grand - been advised by a friend to charge it once a month over night just so you dont lose power and render it useless.Ringer volume is loud as it comes through our phones. Didn't realise as no one really mentions but you can equip the eufy skill in your alexa and alexa will notify you that there is someone at the door also. It wont play the chime but it will literally tell you on words someone is at the door which I find pretty great if your phones in another room.Would 100% recommend this to anyone, not encountered any issues that others have that have reviewed the product but for me its perfect.Hasn't been in any adverse weather yet so unable to tell if it will survive heavy rain, that is to come at some point but u can say the video quality is good, a little stuttery but depends on bandwidth I think as our other cameras are the same.Is it value for money? Yes, ยฃ50 for security with no subscription fee is definitely worth it

Great camera, but some issues with nightvision
Works very very well on my mums house to detect people coming and going. Wanted to be alerted if my dad went walkabouts in middle of night too.In that respect it works great. It catches and records everything.Really easy to setup (I already have eufy cameras at home so knew what to do).Can adjust detection zones to ignore people walking past their gate but triggered as soon as somebody enters the driveway.Negatives:1. High viz coats totally blur out the night vision.2. The doorbell doesn't go quite loud enough for elderly part deaf people. There's no reason for it to be so quiet on max volume but...it is. Had to position in lounge where they sit.All in all a decent budget camera with some minor quirks.App works fine once setup properly.Battery life OK. I fully charged doorbell overnight when fitted and 6 weeks on its at 59% battery with plenty of video recording.Update after 6 months:Device ran out of charge after maybe 4 months of me forgetting to recharge. You get a notification in the app that charge is low (maybe starts at about 15%).I charged from 0 to 100% overnight (I checked on the app whilst it was plugged in). Refitted the doorbell... then checked on the app after an hour and it was down to 75%. (?)I put it back on charge for another 3 hours... and the app said it was at 100%... so refitted. After 24hrs... its at 78%-I'm not sure I trust the accuracy of the battery levels

Good alternative to a subscription service!
The doorbell was easy to fit onto my doorframe, I used the offset tool also. I decided to charge the unit before fitting as recommended then followed the easy instructions to install the app on my phone to set up the doorbell up on my WiFi system. Once I had installed the doorbell, I installed the chime. The sync button was a little hard to see but I got there...probably because I thought it was the wrong button! Everything works as it should on Wifi but if you are using "cellular" data then there is a known "P2P" error that sometimes can impact usage. I got some feedback from Anker which may or may not help. Overall I am very happy with the doorbell/chime combo and would recommend them.

One of the worst customer service teams and set of policies that I have ever come across
I ordered this doorbell in February 2024.The charge didn't last very long, even with reduced video quality and range settings. Despite the fact that the doorbell was only activated approximately 4 times per day, the charge only lasted about 10 days at a time. As this was my first video doorbell I didn't realise this wasn't normal but it was quite annoying, continually having to take it down to recharge. Then about 9 months later, I realised that i couldn't hear my doorbell upstairs very well, so I contacted Eufy (this is their own amazon shop) and asked for advice on whether there was a chime extender that was compatible. They replied recommending a chime extender that I then bought. However when I tried to link this chime extender to the doorbell it wouldn't work. So I again contacted their customer service to ask for help. Several days of too-ing and fro-ing later they admitted that an AI bot had actually answered me (not a human) and had made a mistake and there wasn't a chime compatible with this doorbell. So I had spent time and money buying a useless chime. I talked via e-mail (very slow each time) to their customer-service team and when I mentioned that my charge only lasts about 10 days we all concluded that perhaps my doorbell is faulty. They advised I turned down some settings and check - which I did - so about 4 -6 weeks later after they first insisted in my trying things that they suggested and waiting to see if the charge lasted longer (it didn't). But yes - faulty. So now I had a faulty doorbell product which I had had for (by this time) nearly 11 months, and a chime that I couldn't use. So I suggested that they let me send back both (I had original packaging for both too all in good condition) and they replace it for a different model so that I can have a chime extender - offering to pay the difference. This was surely the best solution for everybody. But they wouldn't even entertain this possibility even though they'd sold me a faulty product and an incompatible doorbell chime.Eventually they agreed to replace my faulty doorbell. They then sent another doorbell which didn't work at all - it wouldn't pair. This whole replacement process took several weeks because they are so so slow at responding properly, each time only half answering. They also do that infuriating thing of apologising for 'your frustration' when actually they should be apologising for their faulty product and for your wasted time and money and for their poor advice!!!Every time you contact the customer service team even if you reply to them literally 1 minute later, there is always at least 24 hours until their next response, sometimes much longer. This is just not good enough. They also obviously use a lot of AI - not entirely sure if anybody I 'spoke' to on the e-mail was human to be honest as there was so much cut-and-paste style bland hollow repetition. This means that even a simple matter takes about a week to advance because they don't answer all of the questions. This is extremely annoying and quite disrespectful of their customer's time and makes you feel very invaluable and not believed by them. They have now (finally) sent me a working version of this produt which seems OK and the charge lasts much longer - great. they gave me a refund for my chime too. But I still am not happy as I would have rather had all this time saved and they sent me a doorbell with a chime extender and charged me the extra.Their customer service is ridiculously bad.If you buy a product form this company and it is faulty, I'd suggest complaining to Amazon rather than their pathetic customer service team as you are more likely to get your money back quickly and efficiently that way so that you can start again. This doorbell is OK if you have a small-ish house. If you have a larger house or if you don't get a working one first time - good luck. In that case I'd buy one of their wired doorbells with a homebase and a chime extender.

Worked well initially but after a year its almost useless as a video doorbell
Bought this eufy doorbell and have used it for a year. Initially it worked pretty well, good camera quality, good response times and video recordings are stored on an SD card on the hub which is inside the house (so won't be lost if someone nicks the doorbell). However, after a year I've noticed a few significant issues:1. battery life is much shorter, lasts about a month. And when recharging its very slow and for some reason cannot charge to full (only about 75%)2. Response times are very slow, to the point that it takes so long to load who ever is at my door is gone before I can see them on the app3. The person/motion detection is pretty much non-existent. It doesn't record or notify me when someone is in its detection zone. I will get an app notification when someone rings the bell but for some reason it doesn't record anything. It still chimes when someone presses it and I can look out of the camera in the live view but apart from that it's pretty much useless as a video doorbell or security device. This can't be explained with any damage as it is under a porch roof so it doesn't even get wet. I've never dropped it nor have I changed my internet or wifi set up in any way. If it worked when first installed why would it stop working now? Built in obsolescence perhaps? A real mystery.I'll be replacing it with a Tapo door bell, hopefully that lasts longer.

Battery on product never worked
I bought the device and it has never worked. I was able to set up the device on the phone and connect it to the ringing device, however, it cannot be charged and will not ring. It took me a long time to set it up as it was for my mother and I was incapable of doing this. I note that we should have returned this before with the issue but it was too late by the time I set it up.

Very good
Easy to install, after it tried other cheaper brands, but didn't like any of them like this one, i set it here in UAE, Then took it to Turkiya, then just needed to change the Wi-Fi settings, and it is working perfectly.
