Crical is a great mid range brand. Good quality. I love the solid, uniform color. I have this and the same color scheme break stick. Both have good tips. Crical has great accessories as well.

Missing the cloth. Took 2 months to get used to carbon fiber…switching the tip to a Kamui Black soft was a game changer. Day and night…the original tip was too hard for my liking. I just put a slightly heavier weight bolt in as I am still struggling to pocket long balls on the opposite side of the table. This cue will definitely highlight flaws and force you to work on your stroke. I credit the adjustment to making me a better player. Here are the weight specs that they do not clearly specify… Shaft - 3.79oz Handle - 13.51oz Include weight bolt - 1.21oz Rubber bumper (bottom of the cue) - 0.4oz Extension - 3.25oz. Cue total (without extension) - 18.92

The good: Cue plays brilliantly. Shaft texture is smooth, no glove needed. Tip was ready to play on arrival. Bag is adequate, cloth useful to have, spare tip helpful too. My first time using a carbon cue, the 'feel' on the shot is different to wood, but I was able to execute shots normally. The bad: I ordered the kit with a mini extension, and the extension didn't fit the cue. The joint was completely the wrong size. Not sure how this happened, but to compound things contacting the seller is practically impossible - after going in circles with amazon chatbots for a while I gave up trying to get help. After goggling and looking on the crical website I eventually surmised that the extension had an adapter plug thing fitted. I removed this using pliers, and found that the extension then fit. Seems ridiculous that this was necessary - why ship with an adapter fitted so tightly that's for a different joint, with no instructions. When fitted it isn't obvious that it is removable.

Been shooting with a knockoff Predator since 2022 and figured it was time for an upgrade. My buddy has the SVB Gen 1 and as much as I love it, I don’t have the money to spend one a carbon fiber shafted stick of that quality. I did some research on lower end sticks with a carbon fiber shaft and figured I’d give this a shot. The shaft itself is very straight, and both the shaft and butt feel great to use. A little lighter than I like to use but I plan on buying the weight bolts in the future. The extension is NOT carbon fiber as stated in the description (actually a piece of hollow aluminum) but it gets the job done like any other extension would. I’ve put about 10 hours into the stick so far and I absolutely love it and can’t beat it for the price point. The tip included is solid and don’t feel the need to replace it in the near future (not sure exactly what kind of tip but it feels like a medium). I highly recommend this stick for beginners or intermediate players looking to buy a entry level carbon fiber shafted stick.
