Digital TV HD Set Top Box with 1 Month Basic Pack with Recording + Free Standard Installation

I was not sure whether opt for an offline or online purchase.Somehow I made my mind for online one and man I must tell you it was hell of an experience that how things work so fast and perfect. The installation guy was humble and didn't ask for any extra buck. Overall an amazing experience.

The delivery and installation was done on the same day that I ordered. For SD channels the picture quality is very low and also few of the channels are missing i.e AXN etc.. If you opt for HD channels the picture quality is good. The best thing about airtel DTH is you can add or remove the channels whenever you want but in other DTH services like Dish tv they have lock on the channels for 30 days, you won't be able to remove that channel.

This is the same quality whether from local store or online, but Amazon had a great deal, better than store.

What a marvellous experience ... the seller's service is absolute gem ... got the installation within 2 hours of ordering the product .. the installation boy who came was very polite and friendly ... didn't charge a single extra penny without the extra cord needed ... i was little bit of apprehensive reading the other users reviews regarding the service of the seller .. but i was completely wrong .. the picture and sound quality of airtel is as per their standard .. easy to operate .. got one month hd regional pack ... running buttery smooth .. thnks Amazon !

Thank you amazon for one day deliver and installation. Loved that. Airtel Dth is good, I got mostly all the HD channels, 7 HD Channel. But one issue, Airtel Dth interface is not user friendly, they needs to work on the interface, you have to manually select and add in favourites, that too only 100 channels, otherwise, if you check all, most of them are not in the pack, and Locked, instead of that, they will show only those channel which comes under the pack, and if someone wants to add additional channel, separate option should be there. Deducting 2 stars for that, otherwise it’s good.

I am from Bangalore and I have placed order on SUNDAY ,within 1 day (MONDAY ) . Afternoon i got a call for confirmation and get installed in the afternoon . Thanks seller , and also got 1 Month Tamil plan , This set-top box gives 1080i you need to change it to 1080p for better quality And i have made many call to Airtel DTH , they are very responsive , when comparing other DTH services like SUN DIRECT AND DISH TV , they charge min Rs.190/- per month for basic plan , But airtel give you Rs.160/- per month for Basic Plan , Advantage: 1.After power on the airtel set-top box With in a 30 Sec you can start changing channel , but other DTH service they wont allow for 1 min. Disadvantage 1.You cant change language on Discovery Channel , History TV etc.. 2.Set-top UI (Software) Not good enough because its not User friendly as like SUN DIRECT .

The set top box delivers excellent HD picture and sound quality, and the initial installation was smooth. However, after about a year of use, most of the buttons on the remote have stopped functioning, which is disappointing. While the DTH service itself is reliable, Airtel should consider improving the quality of the remote control for long-term usability.
