Great case with a defective screen protector
Got this case for my wife's Verizon LG G2 and it fits great. The product images are incorrect (I've told Amazon) and it doesn't mention the Verizon version in the description, but the part number listed (77-34448) is the VZW version and is correct. The case fits perfectly and has already protected my wife's phone against numerous drops in the 2 weeks she has had it on her phone. The only problem she has with it is the screen protector sits 1-2mm above the surface of the screen. This sounds minor, but on a touch screen this results in having to press harder to get the screen to recognize your gestures. You make contact with the screen protector, then have to push until the screen is contacted. It's not natural and ruins the experience of this amazing phone. I have the Defender series cases on a Galaxy S4 and on iPad Minis and they do not suffer from the same issue as the G2 case.I've contacted Otterbox customer service about the issue and they are sending a replacement, which hopefully will fix the issue. However I'm pessimistic about that as there are numerous reviews on Otterbox's own website about the defect. I'll update the review when the replacement arrives...Update 3/31/2014: After 2 replacements from Otterbox (white/pink and black/black), problem is still present. They also told me they are discontinuing the pink/white case, so it is unlikely this will ever be fixed.

Just as described
So far i havent dropped my phone but it fits well. I dont have air betwn the screen protector and the phone. It may be because i have fat fingers but the edges of the protector on the screen make it a challenge for one handed txting since the edge bumps up just enough to not allow your finger to reach all the way to the letters "a,q,p,l".Like any case, it does add 'bulk' to the slim LG G3 phone but its the thinnest you'll find for your phone that will still protect without adding 'too many or too thick of layers'. I had to take my battery out and the case itself was just as easy to take off as it was to put on.This varies, i noticed, becausr i had this exact case for my G2. And that case i did have that air space betwn the screen and screen protector. And when I traded my phone, that thing was hell to take off.I am strongly confident in this case to do its job. If not, otterbox has a wonderful replacement/warranty plan. If the case you purchased didnt do its job, take a pic of your phone and the case, then seperate, send it to otterbox, and they will replace both. Thats how good this brand is.

This is the case to get.
Otterbox is the best. If you want to protect your phone this is the case for you... I've dropped my lgg2 phone several times with this on and it works great! My husband recently got an iphone through work and it came with a defender from otterbox. the case has broken 2x. I called the company and they replaced both times and were so nice. They have awesome customer service. When I first got my phone I bought a cheaper case and amazon let me return and I ordered this. So glad I did. I would give Otterbox a higher rating if I could.

I've bought this case twice now because it's just that good.
I've bought this case twice now because it's just that good. The design is clever if a touch bulky... which I don't mind given what it's protecting. It's essentially a padded plastic frame surrounded by a thick rubber(ish) shell. The shell blocks the bottom ports, doesn't impede the sound, and rises above the depth of the phone creating a lip that protects the screen. The LG G2 is my first smart phone and I am hard on it. I ran it into things in my pocket pretty hard and dropped it many times. Even with that wear and tear, the first case lasted well past the Otterbox warranty. When it did break, it was the plastic frame that holds the outer shell. Basically, when it falls and hits the rubber shell redistributes the impact into the plastic frame. Eventually, the torquing of that impact on the inner plastic frame meets the tensile strength and it breaks in the corners (over time).Even so, that it works as well as it does for a simple case is pretty awesome. Worth the money every time.

A must for clumsy people like me
This was my first otter box and I am so glad I invested in one! It has saved my phone from breakage on multiple occasions.. The only downside is, it is hard for me to remove, my husband can get it off just fine though. I recently upgraded my phone and have purchased my second otter box! Almost Perfect With 1 Major Flaw
The LG G2 (Verizon) Otterbox protector case works perfect at protecting the mobile unit. However, I found one major flaw in the units overall performance: The Otterbox screen (monitor) protector. The monitor's plastic protector piece does not fit tightly over the monitor. As a result, the user has to press down harder than usual on the monitor in order for the action to be accepted by the mobile unit. Also, because of its not-so-tight a fit, dirt and dust particles fall in between the plastic case cover and the monitor. This means that you must dismantle the Otterbox casing to clean the monitor (instead of just simply wiping the plastic cover to remove smudge marks, etc). If Otterbox corrects this major flaw, they will then market the perfect case for the LG2 (Verizon).

Good, sturdy case with some issues.
I like that the phone seems very protected, but like others, I have an issue with the clear screen protector. The gap between the plastic and the screen can get rather frustrating. You do have to press harder to get the screen to respond. It also is not as sensitive. I have fairly small fingers and have never had issues with hitting small links, but now it's very difficult. I'm definitely considering pulling the screen protector out and getting a seperate protector.I also have an issue with how difficult it is to open the cover for the charging port, but that seems to be getting easier with use.Seeing that I've dropped my phone twice prior to getting this case and had to pay for a cracked screen, if this case does it's job, it'll be worth the frustrations.
