I’m unsure how the sturdiness rating is so high. The first thing I noticed is that the top and bottom don’t align. It’s as if they took the top from one case and the bottom from another and affixed them to make one case. I purchased this case to use in my bag/purse when on the go. I do not trust it to protect my sunglasses because there are gaps that will allow things to get inside the case (potentially scratching the lenses) while jostling around in my bag. It seems like a dollar store quality item. The quality does not match the price.

Very sturdy, solid snap close, good size for larger glasses. Does what I want it to do, protect my glasses, quite well.
