FreeSip Sway Stainless Steel Water Bottle 40 oz Black Cherry

I've tried several water bottles over the years, and this is hands-down my favorite! The handle makes it easy to carry. It doesn't leak at all. And it keeps water cold for hours. There is a LOCK position so the top can't accidentally flip open. It holds plenty of water, and fits in a car cup-holder easily. Since I only use it for water and don't share it, I haven't tested it in the dishwasher yet. The straw works really well and it's very easy to drink from. One caution - DO NOT put any carbonated beverages in it! In a group setting at a camp, someone drank all my regular water and the only water was flavored & bubbly, so I poured that in, forgetting the caution in the directions. Luckily, I didn't wait too long before I tried to open it, because it almost wouldn't open. Somehow the carbon dioxide bubbles lock it up! This is a WINNER, and so many colors to choose from, too!

I am obsessed with w/ the sway, I bought Daybreak/ Fig, they are gorgeous, the bottle design is sleek as well highly functional. It is matte vs shiny the bottle isn’t slippery in hand, & there are different sizes to choose from. It fits into my cupholders, it also fits into my couch cupholders, & have the 30 oz. I will be buying more for me as well for gifts as EVERYONE deserves to fall in love w/ this water bottle! Oh, I have not talked about the lid functionality and I left the best for last because I never thought I would love love love the sip straw part as much as I do the chug part is very good as well. They’re right kind of like right next to each other, but you can definitely tell the straw area versus the chug area. I don’t usually use a chug type mouthpiece , but I did try it out because well it’s there and it’s very nice as well. With other brands, you either have a straw straight up you have a straw you have to flip up and this is more practice. The sealing is awesome, I tested ice in the bottle and I put it in @ noon 8/21/26 & it’s 653am 8/22/26 and my water is cold with a lot of ice. I wanted to test it out because I know there’s some mixed reviews. I myself do not use ice in my drinks. I just use cold water so the ice retention for me is really not huge on whether I buy a bottle or not.. and let’s face it if you put water and ice into any water bottle you’re gonna have some weight, but I don’t think it’s that heavy and I have arthritis and some other issues. I love the handle on the sway. I don’t usually like cups that have the side handle. I just find those to be bulky, but I love the handle on the sway because even though I have small hands, sometimes I have to carry it versus putting it into my bag because I have a lot of things as being a teacher if you know you know. So I’m an advocate for cleaning your entire bottle and when I say entire bottle I mean take the little part and I don’t like 1 million gazillion pieces and I’m one that’s very thorough. I don’t just take a little brush through it. I take the seals off I take my watch a video first on it on TikTok and then because sometimes I don’t know how to clean the bottle lid and then of course I repeat that and I find this one to be extremely easy to clean even the piece that sits in the lid. I don’t know depend on the color you get mine is gray. I will just pop that out, clean it with the brush clean it however let it dry then put it all back together so you don’t get any type of mold because any water bottle you have you’re gonna have mold if you don’t clean your bottle and again I love this bottle and I did purchase it with my own money as I have no deal with them at all I’m not even vine reviewer( I wish).

LOVE the watermelon color so much of this water bottle. Was hesitant about this new style of owala but I am so glad I finally got it. Fits in a normal car cup holder and the handle on top is so much better than the other owala style. Keeps my water freezing, doesn't leak, and has a lock on the lid to keep it from opening.

I’ve been looking for a 30 oz that actually keeps water cold and was reasonably priced. 40 oz is just too big for me. Others ridiculously expensive. This is it! Great color options. A carry handle that sold out of the way and I love the sip/chug option. Unique! Button to open gives a solid pop and gasket is solid. Fits in cupholder. The outside has just enough grip to not be slippery and the little divots on the sides help to hold as well. I can fit it in the side pocket of my backpack unlike those others with the bigger top half. +++. I bought the one with the purple handle and the cup itself looks pink in the picture. It’s not. Depending on the light it’s more of a white with a hint of lavender or gray? I’m glad because I’m not much of a pink person but I liked the purple top.

This (40 oz) fits in my cup holder on a 2021 Subaru!! I left it in my car and went into work. 6 hours later I came out and it was fire hot on the outside .... but ICE COLD water with ice still on the inside. It is leak proof, for real! I put it inside my lunch bag with no concern of messes. I got my husband one. I like the choice of colors. It is super easy to use and open and close with the little lever to flip to unlock. I think it is a decent price since I have paid more for other name brands that did not pass these things listed. Durability I am not sure I have not grown it around to check that, I like it. (I also have a 24 oz that I use for my Instant Hydration drinks.)

This is a great water bottle. This is my second one, nothing is wrong with my first one but it has been such a good thing to use for my green tea, which l drink like Southerners drink regular tea. I brew a gallon of it every day. It is medically very good for me and my rather delicate stomach so I am going to keep drinking it. It really does make me feel better and I can enjoy my tea in this great sip tea cooler that keeps my tea very cold all day. It will keep it cold overnight if I put an ice cube or two in it. This size bottle has space for the large round ice. One or two of them fit at the top and you will have ice cold water in the middle of the night, or morning. Better than the old water glass my Mom used. My ice tea is sweet, but not overly so. I don’t drink candy! Green tea brewed fresh and then chilled makes excellent tea to enjoy from these marvels drink bottles! I bought the second one so that I could wash and be sure to dry the first one before using it again. They are too good to mess up by not using them properly. I have bought four Owala bottles in the past year and I don’t plan on trying any other brand. I don’t put fizzy drinks in my stomach so I don’t miss not putting in my water bottle. It is available for those who want that, but it is not good for bottles not made for that purpose. I love the Owala brush to use for my bottles! It’s so handy and it cleans very well. That, the little all around cleaner brush that I got earlier on and the straw cleaner are all there when I need them. I will now stop sounding like a commercial. I like what I like and give it a plus. would be a bit much but it’s OK. The handle swing is a game changer for me. You can lock the top and carry the bottle. The previous Owala did not lock unless the handle was down. If you carried it and fell over a cat you would have a lot of liquid splashed around. My old model lived a long and serviceable life but all things wear out. I am pleased to like the new model too.

One day in and I’m a fan! 😍 the size is perfect, it holds 30 oz, is easy to carry and looks great. I was nervous to open the lid, but it’s a breeze to use. Love that it has a lock feature to prevent spills if you place it in your bag. Main reasons I’m in love (this relationship os progressing quickly): the straw cover - so grateful someone finally realized our straws are getting gross while exploring the world. Now I don’t have to put a different straw cover on or cover my tumbler with a paper towel in a restroom!! Germaphobes rejoice! The airflow and drinking ability is a breeze, Owala looked at the pin hole air flow and said “hold my cup”. It’s so easy to drink from this tumbler!!! No more straw lip lines!! It fits easily in my car cup, some of my other tumblers “stick”, not this time. Very stable cup, keeps my water extremely cold. Easy to use. Why the 4 stars then… Owala recommends to hand wash the stainless steel tumbler to maintain finish. I’ve placed the plethora of other tumblers in the dishwasher without issue but will hand wash this one. Thankfully, the lid and straw are dishwasher safe. Gorgeous color, my husband thinks it looks like an ice cream cone. 😂 I’m replacing my other tumblers for this one.
