I love Spam! But my doctor advised me to cut back on the salt as I have high blood pressure and have had it most of my adult life. I am mid 70's now and it had gotten really bad. So I had to cut out so many good things. That is why I was so excited to find Spam lite! No, I do not eat it all the time, but now I can have some again and not worry so much about the salt content. Thank you so much SPAM.

versatile food item! can broil it up in the oven as a main dish for the fam, or can slice and dice and add to other products. a friend puts it in the blender with cream cheese and makes a sandwich filling out of it. good source of protein, and so many flavors and options to choose from.

Great price, wonderful grilled fried diced in eggs add to pizza. Everybody loves it.

Less sodium and fat are good, but the texture of it is okay. Wouldn’t buy it again.

脂っこさはだいぶ減った印象ですが、その分旨味も減っています。 食感もオリジナルに比べ、硬いような印象です。 硬いといっても噛めないとかそういうレベルではなく、 オリジナルに比べ多少歯ごたえを感じるとか、その程度ですが。 私はスパムを、油を使わずフライパンで焼き 醤油、みりん、出汁で味付けをするという方法で調理しています。 こうすると独特の美味さを出す、ハズなのですが このLiteで同じ調理方法を試してみたら、 あれ？こんなはずでは････ という味と食感になってしまいました。 今回は健康に留意してLiteを選びましたが よく考えてみれば、この手の食品は食べるとしても、たまになので 今後はオリジナルの方で味わいを優先したいと、考えを改めました。
