Sweet and tangy...
Flavour was awful. But when cooked tastes like heaven. Watch Sam the cooking guy. He made full chicken with this sauce. Awesome. Tastes sweet and tangy . Fits perfect with chicken.

Goes really well with mushrooms! Hoisin sauce has a sweet taste to it so keep that in mind while adding it to stuff. I mix it with soy sauce and Chings schezwan chutney to get my desired flavour.
