So good
These. Are. Delicious.Everyone in our family, and all guests who have tried these love them. They rest nicely on top of a cup of hot coffee, tea, or cocoa, and they soften as they are warmed up. Imagine a fresh, warm, malted caramel waffle cone, then dip it in your tea. So good!

I actually prefer these to the Daelmans brand
I've been buying these for years and while I have had a few better batches than others; going through my orders, looks like on average I pay about $15 per 40ct box; which is pretty good to me. I have resorted to buying different brands, and if I ever saw the ones at costco, whichever brand they are; at a price of $8.99 per box (as per a reviewer I just red from), I'd jump on those as well. Like I said, I have tried other brands, including but not limited to Daelmans, which most reviews that mention them seem to prefer; which is why I decided to leave a review of my own, since I wholeheartedly prefer these.I wouldn't be surprised if the Daelmans stayed fresh for longer, since, at least the packs I've gotten before, were individually wrapped. In all fairness, the few times I've had Daelmans, I can say they are super consistent and you always know exactly what you're getting, while with these, some batches are better than others. However, when these are good, they are, imo, the absolute best. And when they're bad, they're just alright. At similar price per lb, I'd still prefer these. Even knowing there's a gamble involved in whether I'll get a good batch or a bad one. In the last 10 boxes I've ordered, perhaps one has been bad, and perhaps 6 have been especially good. The rest, the average ones, I still prefer over Daelmans. So, with odds of 9 out of 10, I'll stick to these.Just thought I'd mention this since most reviews mentioning other brands seem to prefer the other brand.Important maybe to keep in mind, these were the ones I had first, and loved. Maybe it would've been different if my wife's parents had Daelmans that fateful day I had these for the first time. I'll keep my eyes open for when they go down in price again.

A bargain price, but just a hair small on size.
Bought these as my local supplies ran short and the price was much more affordable. These are however about 1cm smaller in diameter than the previous ones I was getting and they just ever so barely balance atop my coffee mugs. They still work, and are still delightful, just wish they were a hair bigger so it wasn't a delicate balancing act on your average size mug.

If you don’t know, now you know.
This is the real deal. I love reading the “1 stars”. They (mostly) are showing their ignorance.I first discovered the stroopwaffle 12 years ago. I was studying in Amsterdam and had my first “can” of le chef’s amazing cookies (Well, that’s what this ignorant chef calls them :)!Understand that they are not really supposed to be eaten as a cookie but that is my favorite way to enjoy them. They are actually supposed to be set on the top of a hot mug beverage-the sweet cookie and caramel melt. What is left at the end of your “hot coco” is magical.I, however, am addicted to them as cookies. They call me at night (not even joking)! I spill crumbs everywhere but not to worry my pup LOVES the crumbs. The first bite is not the best especially if you don’t know- but that’s ok - something magical starts to happen about half way through. Then ur hooked. They are basically a waffle cone filled with a thin layer of caramel and if your really lucky, you will get some hardened around the outside, stuck to the package. Those are the BEST.They are overpriced. Be careful, some come as a “30 pack” not a “40 pack”This seller was ‘reasonably priced’ ehhhhhOther brands are good also, these are authentic.

Stale and Awful Tasting!
I was so excited to get these since our Costco had run out of them. Unfortunately when I got them, I could tell right away that they were not going to be good. They were completely melted together and the taste was completely off. I'm not sure if they were a generic cookie or if they were just really old. After looking at other reviews, it looks as though this has been a common thing. This was so disappointing since these are my favorite cookies.

Received in terrible condition.
Why? The box was fine. NO DAMAGE TO THE BOX. The cookies looked like they have been dropped off a building. It's ruined the look of our cookie table.
