I gave this 5 stars because of the quality of the item. The rubber is a good thickness. It was easy to cut to fit. Here is where it didn't work as well as I would have liked. In my situation, my headlight bulbs are enclosed in the headlight assembly. I have to remove a back plate to access my bulbs. The problem is fitment once this dust cover is installed. It make a very tight fit when putting the back plate back on, not a lot of clearance. If your headlights are open on the back side this should not be a problem. Wish someone made OEM style dust cover for my vehicle with about another 10mm in depth. I made it work, but it took a lil bit of coaxing.

Bought these for my 2015 F-150 when I installed new LED headlight and need more room. Installed easy, all you had to do was cut to fit depending on the size you needed. Pushed right in where old dust covers were and were snug so they didn’t fall out. One watch out be careful not to cut to much off or they won’t fit properly, will be too small and loose. You can always cut off more if they don’t fit the first time

Does not fit Chevy Silverado. Most trucks have a 5" diameter.

This fits a 2017 Ford Escape with projector headlights.

Rating it 1 star for now as I received clearly an item that was returned after it had already been cut. I don’t understand how this was being sold as new. I ordered a replacement, will update rating once it arrives and I test the quality. Hopefully I get a new item this time.

Does the job when switching from halogen and purchasing LEDs with big ends, on my 2000 van

all i did was take a long zip tie like tip of index finger to elbow lol.. now take your old cap and put it into the product until it's tight take the zip tie tighten just enough to be snug... ok here is the tuff part.. fold back the excess. if you can't do with zip tie and cap in just note notch and flip inside out and then roll back into itself until it's at the notch you want. if you can do with cap and zip tie just remember to remove the cap lol. ok now again take the zip tie and put it back how it was around the notch should be snug... ok so 4 those small spots lol good luck lol. can apply pressure where the zip tie is get it where you want it and then zip tie down... some how i got lucky and my lights housing was still hot-ish and i was able to snug then roll the excess from one side around the bottom then i zip tied.. anyway i saw a lot about cutting.. this is my experience. hope it helps..

Exactly as described, easily trimmed to size and flexible. Excellent to allow more air circulation when using after market bulbs. Be aware though, many engine bays are packed environments these days pipes, components and wiring looms are often very close to the headlamp covers so they may not have sufficient room to be used. Also, moulding and projections on outer surface of housing may impair seal.

Impossible à mettre sur le cache, une déception pur et dure, moi qui pensait avoir trouver ma solution miracle pour mettre mes phares leds plus puissants, ils ont fini à la poubelle directement.

Ottima soluzione per modifiche ai fari. L'ho usato sulla mia motocicletta su cui ho montato lampade led. Mi ha colpito la consistenza della gomma di cui sono fatti questi coperchi: SOLIDA eppure ESTREMAMENTE FLESSIBILE. E' stato semplice ritagliare la dimensione necessaria. Una sola considerazione: nonostante provengano dalla stessa casa, la qualità della gomma di quello dalle dimensioni maggiori è nettamente superiore a quello più piccolo (quest'ultimo acquistato per sbaglio e reso il giorno dopo). Mi riserverò di aggiornare questa recensione qualora dovessero emergere problemi in futuro.
