USA Topre Realforce 104UBS Silent Variable Black on Black Keyboard

A fantastic keyboard well worth the investment. This is my endgame keyboard for sure. The keycaps have an amazing feel. It has the characteristic Topre "TOC" sound, however it's also quiet enough if you are looking for a "after midnight" seal of approval from your spouse.I'm not a keyboard enthusiast by any means, but I do own a Filco Majestouch-2 with MX Silent Red switches (aka Pink switches) and love both of my keyboards. In terms of switches I would even have to admit that I like the pinkies a little bit more than the Topre. Still, the out of the box build quality of the Realforce feels superior. What does spending twice as much gets you in practice? I would say PBT Keycaps, a variable weighted keyboard (can play both ways) and not having to deal with the "scratchiness" of the newest MX switches.If you are just like me and don't feel like buying custom keycaps, lubing switches, installing O-rings, etc., I dare to say that this is a good as it gets.

This is now my daily driver, I have one for home and hopefully will also get one at work. Much more silent than a Filco Majestouch II with browns, even though you always 'bottom-out' on the keys on a Topre.This is a no-frills keyboard, no RGB, no USB hub, no media key or sliders, just 1.3kg of pure typing heaven.
