They are nice & thick, but the sizing MIGHT not work for ALL handles!!! It's too small to fit over some of my handles.

The handle is good, and it fits on all my various skillets and pots. The smaller of the two assist handles fits my Lodge skillet, my other skillets do not have the assist handles. The third, larger assist handle, doesn't fit anything I own. However, if you lie the two covers on your countertop near each other, they make a nice resting spot for lids. Had I thought it through, I'd have been better off buying two standard-sized handles instead. Sometimes, it really pays to think things through.The only problem I've come across with the handle is if you put it on the skillet and leave it there the entire time you are cooking, the handle becomes rather warm, necessitating the use of a thick towel to pick up the skillet. So, when you are not using it to pick up the skillet, take it off and lay it to the side.Otherwise, if used _correctly_, it is a handy tool to have and it fits every brand and size of skillet I own.

I recently bought this silicone handle holder to use on my cast iron pan. I've used it a couple of times now and it definitely makes the handle more comfortable to hold. You can still feel a little heat, but it's a lot more manageable. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because the holder doesn't fit the pan handle very well. I should have looked at the picture further down the page because it shows three cast iron pans, each one with a holder. You can see that the holder is not a snug fit around the handles. What this means is that the holder rotates somewhat; I had to be very careful when lifting the pan. As anyone knows, cast iron pans are extremely heavy so you need to be careful that the handle doesn't turn in the cover. Other than that, the product does it's job. Hope this helps.

I've used the long handle almost every day for 3+ months to heat my tea and had zero issues. It fits my saucepan snugly and is easy to grip. Cleaning process is quick and without any build up. The color ain't half bad either. Overall, worth the price but I haven't used the other 2 wide handles yet.

...compared to a Lodge handle cover, which I purchased at the same time, these are obvious cheap knock-offs—thinner and don’t fit as well. But, for the money, adequate for vacation use/around camp/in an RV.

I bought 3 sets of these for 3 men in my family who cook with cast-iron. Too soon to tell how well they work but I can say this: they were delivered to me very quickly during the Christmas rush and I got what I ordered. They appear to be very thick and good quality. I bought them as a result of the reviews I read so I’m sure the guys will enjoy them!

Even w splatter screen, these can get greasy. Do not cook with them on cast iron. Put them on after cooking to transfer to trivet on table.

These silicon hot handle holders do the trick on my cast iron skillet! You can not feel the heat from the skillet through them. The only thing I didn’t like is that these can slip off, say when you are pouring grease out. Mostly it’s the small handle one that slips. But if you are aware of that and use a bit of caution they are fine. I just wish they came in blue. I’m not a fan of red, as it’s not the best color in my kitchen. Not a big problem though. Lol
