Playtex 18 Hour 4745 18 Hour Ultimate Lift & Support Wirefree Bra Size 36D - White

Although my pic is not that of the model and since I am going to be 60 at the end of this month and carry a little extra weight around the armpit area and back (need more swimming this year me thinks!) I am extremely pleased with this bra. I have worn it for 2 days in succession and compared to another brand bra which has also been around for 60 years, and is also a 36D (but very ill fitting, I will never wear another bra which is not Playtex. I don't know I am wearing it. This is the most important thing about a bra. I feel like I am supported yet not confined. My only bug-bear is why it looks longer under the breast than that of the model. Saying that, it has not bunched under that area and it stays that way all day. I don't normally like photo's but this I felt it shows a reasonable example of what to expect on a person of my age.

I ordered this bra in my usual size 36D but the under-band was far too tight & the cups were huge, much bigger than any size D cup I've tried on. My boobs just sat at the bottom of the cups and the top part of the bra was baggy because of the way the cups had been made. It took so long to get here I thought it had got lost so I ordered it again and, of course, it then turned up the day after. I sent it back and then the other one I'd ordered arrived & that one had to be returned too. I don't understand why the returns label had a U.S. address on it. British shops sell Playtex. I was very disappointed with this bra but Amazon were brilliant in returning my expenditure.

I wear this bra around the house as it frees me from my underwire, doesn’t give much support but is comfortable, breathable and closure is easy, coverage isn’t good because there is no adjustability in the straps, not my everyday wear, durability is good as I throw in washer with my light load.

I’m very happy with this bra. I ordered a 36D, and after finally taking proper measurements and following the size guide, the fit was spot on. For reference, I’m 5'5" and 190 lbs. The support is excellent for a wireless bra, and it provides good lift without digging or feeling restrictive. One thing to note: the band fit is snug. On me, it fits on the furthest set of hooks, so I’d strongly recommend taking accurate measurements before ordering rather than guessing your usual size. Doing that made all the difference for me. The bra is comfortable enough for all-day wear, and the shape and support are noticeably better than what I was wearing before. After some recent weight changes, switching to a properly fitted bra made a huge improvement in both comfort and appearance. I liked it enough that I ordered several more after trying the first one. Overall, this is a very solid, supportive option that delivers exactly what it promises when sized correctly.
