Spigen Liquid Air Case Compatible with iPhone XS Max - Matte Black

I wanted a snug fitting case that provides good all round protection and this seems to do the job very nicely! Very well made with precision cut holes, the matt finish is great for NOT showing finger prints and the pattern on the rear looks great and should also help prevent the case from looking "tired" if it gets a little bit scuffed. I think it is a good compromise between providing protection and being too bulky, as the phone doesn't feel much bigger in the hand with the case fitted. Not sure how much protection it would give against a serious drop from height onto a corner, but I think it does the job well for everyday knocks and scrapes. It is thick enough to keep the rear camera lens slightly recessed inside the back surface, so that you don't risk scratching the lens when placing the phone down! I am using this case with the Spigen iPhone XS Max / XS / X Camera Lens Glass Protector and also the ANIOPE Full Coverage Protective Film Tempered Glass Screen Protector - both of these fit well with the case for all round protection, without detracting from the look of the phone at all. I don't agree with other reviews that say the case is slippery; perhaps some sort of pattern on the sides of the case would help to improve the feel and give more confidence, but I don't think that the case is any more slippery than the phone itself!

Perfect!.. In every way really, fits the phone perfectly and doesn’t feel overly chunky or the phone feel like a brick but still offers adequate protection from minor drops etc.. The rubber texture on the back makes for a good grip of the phone, one of the things I disliked about the new iPhone is that it’s like holding a bar of soap and being such an expensive phone you don’t really want to be dropping it everywhere.. It also looks nice and sleek on the phone and as mentioned before doesn’t feel chunky or make an incredible amount of difference to the size of the phone.. the case also has a bevel around the camera and screen that sits slightly proud so you won’t scratch anything when putting it down on a table.

Wanted a sturdy case - it is - I’m pleased. Not bulky still keeps the slim nature of the phone and more importantly ’just’ recesses the camera enough that it sits flat on a surface.Only downfall - slightly slippy in your hand but that’s the compromise between rubberised or siliconised that everything sticks to it and it’s hard to get out ur pocket to more durable and easy to clean. Overall 9/10 👍🏻

I wrongly assumed that this is a hard/sturdy phone cover. It bends quite easily in the hand without a phone being in it but is well-made and seems like it could be quite durable. I am used to the hard/inflexible cases made by Speck so this Spine case is a new experience for me. The phone fits into it well, however, and it is easy to remove and replace if you want to clean it or the phone itself.

Used daily since JanuaryI’ve only had a small issue which I have noticed recently where above the volume button is a mark from where the case presses against my iPhone, doesn’t affect use but may be an issue for some.Other than it damaging my iPhone it’s been a great case, grippy and looks good can’t really ask for much more from this price point - it does cover the screen and still leaves a lip even with a full screen protector -drop protection doesn’t seem to be a selling point with this case, the imprint inside and the slight holes in the corners will probably do nothing if dropped but thank fully I haven’t had to test that.I would recommend this case if you don’t mind the mark it leaves on the phone, as I’ve said it looks good, covers the phone and is great quality

Bought it when I got my new iPhone XS Max as I had the same make and design for my old iPhone X (normal size) and loved it.It fits perfectly and provides excellent protection of the corners of the phone and the screen. I have dropped my old phone a hundred times with my old case and when I traded it in it still looked like new.Also makes the camera flush so the phone lays flat on the table.The textured finish also makes it easier to grip.For the price easily the best iPhone case I have bought on Amazon.

This phone case is great, adds a lot of protection for your phone. All of the buttons work properly and the camera is protected as it has a slight raise. The case does to have the best grip and could be dropped easily, however after just 2 days of using, I have got used to it. Great value for money and does not add bulk to the phone. This case is the perfect one if you are looking for a simple appearance for your phone, as opposed to a colourful/fancy design.
