Spigen Liquid Air Designed for iPhone Xs MAX Case (2018) - Matte Black

I love this case! It’s minimal so I still get the size of my extremely expensive iPhone. The fit is absolutely perfect and snug. It has a small lip that protrudes psst he front of the screen which protects the screen from screen first drops and still allows enough space for a screen protector. The best way I can describe the fit is it feels like the phone was dipped in rubber to get a perfect form fit. It is not very slippery and if there is any one thing I would like to see changed is having the checking that is on the back wrap around the sides so it’s doesnt slide on flat surfaces when I prop it against something. It’s still holds pretty well because of the rubbery feel but I think a little texture on the side would be a nice upgrade. I’ve had it for a few months now and it still looks new. No wearing from coming in and out of my pocket. This will be my goto case from now on and I’ll sctually be ordering in other colors just to be able to swap it up.

I tend to go with very thin cases for my iPhones. But with the iPhone XS Max, I felt the need to have a bit more protection than a skin or very thin plastic case. As with all Spigen cases, it fits well and is well made. It makes the phone easier to hold. The buttons work well, though because they have gaps, lint can get caught underneath them (easily removed if you take the case off.The edge around the screen is slightly raised, which keeps the screen from touching the table surface when it's on its face. It makes it a bit harder to do edge screen swipes, but they still work well.It has a slightly rubberized grip to it, but not quite a sticky as a silicone case. The texture on the back of the case aids in group and is subtle, not affecting the clean look of the case.I have not had a significant drop yet, so I can't speak to how protective it is. I know it will offer more protection than thin or skin cases, but it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone.Three months in, I don't yet notice the surface rubbing off or de-laminating in any way.I would buy this case again.

I had an Apple genuine leather case on my phone which I liked but didn’t even last 1 year before it got extremely dirty, grimy and nasty. It started off as a nice orange and ended a dark burnt orange with black around its edges.Enter this case. Beautiful finish and fit plus I know because it’s not leather it won’t get nasty. Unless you want to replace your case every 6 months leave the leathers for wallets and belts. It’s not for phone cases. Hopefully this doesn’t peel which the one before the Apple did do. We shall see.I’m just glad I didn’t pay full price for the apple one! I would be *issed! For $7 though I think I got my money out of it.

I currently have a Spigen Liquid Air Armor case for my iPhone X. How do I like it? So much so that when I bought an iPhone XS Max I immediately bought another Liquid Air case for it. I've gone through my fair share of cases over the years and the Liquid Air series from Spigen are the best. It's made from TPU, a rubber-like material, that resists fingerprints and is easy to hold. This is a slim, form-fitting case that has Air Cushion Technology built into each corner. Basically, it helps protect your phone should you accidentally drop it. Does it work? Yes, it does. I'm not clumsy by any means, but I've still managed to drop my phone a few times. This case did a fantastic job of protecting it. Finally, and I know this is super important to many of you, this case will not interfere with wireless charging pads. You simply cannot find a better case for the money.

Everything about this case is great. Perfect fit, slim, and textured. Raised lip for front face & rear camera. At first, it may feel slippery as some reviewers say, but after a while you get used to it. Only downside is that it won’t fit ZAGG glass+luxe or glass+360 tempered glass because it is edge to edge protection. The lip on the case pushes up against the glass causing it to bubble... but if using a normal tempered glass screen protector it should be fine. Dropped a star because of it. Other than that it’s a great case for daily use...

This is the XS Max version of the same case I've had for my 7 Plus and 8 Plus. Just like those, the fit is so precise it looks like it's part of the phone rather than an accessory. Unlike the Apple silicone case I tried (before this one was available), the button action is nice and clicky, not squishy like the Apple one. And the Liquid Armor doesn't attract all the pocket lint like Apple's.Finally, the protection is noticeably better, with full coverage across the bottom front edge and surrounding the bottom microphones, speakers, and charge port.The grip is maybe a bit more slick than ideal, but I never had my previous 2 phones slip from my hand.The only slight disappointment is that the buttons do not completely enclose the phone's buttons, so a bit more dust will probably get in there. The one I had for my 8 Plus had more "complete" buttons. Perhaps they'll revise these with a later revision of the case. Nevertheless, the action on them is good, and that's key for me.
