good value, but my first one died prematurely.
The first one I bought shorted out after 5 days, blowing my circuit breaker. I returned and got my money back. I bought another to install in the same location, but the cord was 2 inches shorter than the previous one, so I couldn't reuse the same mounting holes and have the cord still reach the same outlet. The single light design doesn't quite shine in a full 180 degree area. So, its not the same light pattern as you'd see with two bulbs set 90 degrees apart.I really like the three dials that let you adjust sensitivity of the motion sensor, duration of the light timeout, and the threshold of the ambient light sensor. This is better than other models that only have a switch with limited choices. This unit stays cool while running. There is NOT a red led that blinks in the daytime with motion. So, you can't tell if the motion sensor is working in the daytime, unless you adjust the ambient light sensor to the "sun" position. It is not possible to angle the light left and right - the angle is fixed based upon the U shaped mounting bracket and whatever it attaches to.The motion sensor can be angled both up-down and also left-right as desired. My meter reads 7 or 8 watts when this light is on. That's close to the 10W that its rated for.

CAVEAT EMPTOR: A true motion sensor is NOT what this unit has.
A nice built unit that would fill the bill for some. But not my needs.BE AWARE: This unit is advertised as having a motion sensor. It does not. What it has is a temperature gradient sensor. This means that it senses a difference in temperature/infrared between a body (human or animal) and the background environmental temperature. Thus, if you need this for the purpose of illumination when intruders come into view of the sensor then this is the unit you need. For my needs, it does not work. I need this unit to sense a motor vehicle moving within its field of view. It does not. Once set up, it would sense me moving from 40 feet or more and turn on the light. But when I was backing my car out of my driveway, the light would not sense the vehicle (being a cold hunk of metal) until it was within 5 feet of the sensor.I had hoped this unit would have a true motion sensor but again...it does not. If it did, I'd have given 5 stars.Keep that in mind when buying.

Well made, small, really bright - and not so great in motion detection mode
Is there a half star? I'd do a 2.5 star because I can't say I don't like it - I like it because even though the motion detector is sensitive to the point of being nearly useless like if the wind starts blowing etc and then it goes on and off and on and off until it drives you nuts - not to mention the neighbors lined up in your yard with pitchforks - it's really well made and hella bright as a spotlight. I'm just disappointed about the motion detection thing.I wrapped a piece of polarizing film around the IR scanner and that helped a lot but even so it was still spazzing out from the shadows cast by leaves in front of other peoples porch lights even when the detector was pretty much aimed at the ground.Warmoon - this puppy needs some control refinement.

Good light at a great price
The light arrived in the promised shipping time. I purchased this light for use in our garage; so that we could reach the light switch without tripping over stuff in the dark, it works great. The smaller size and the plug in cord, made it perfect for my application, and being a Led light, there is no heat. To mount the light you need to first remove the bracket by unscrewing the bolts from the side, then mount the bracket in the desired location (note: the light did not come with any screws or anchors for attaching the bracket to the wall) Once you have the bracket mounted, attach the light using the bracket bolts. I recommend adjusting the light's controls before you mount it. I adjusted the controls so that the light only turns on by motion, and then only when the garage is dark. The motion detector is very sensitive, you can adjust the sensitivity. It is a bright light, but not really bright enough for an area work light unless your close to it, but it lights up the whole garage, no more bumping into or tripping over stuff. This light priced at under $20, is a real bargain. One gripe about this light, was the instructions, they are almost useless. I will update my review if we have any issues.

May Not Be Weatherproof
One lasted less than 45 days! I bought two, one is installed under the eve of my shed and is mostly protected from rain. The other one was mounted on a TV antenna mast next to my trailer at deer camp. That one was out in the open and was intended to light up the front of my trailer when coming in after dark. It failed this weekend, Feb 12th. The pair was purchased Dec 28 and delivered the 30th, so was not actually installed until after Jan 1.Update: The defective unit was replaced at no cost. The company is great to deal with if you have a problem with their products.

Update: Got Another One
Update:After my original review the seller contacted me and sent a replacement for free. The replacement works great! Plugged in and lit right up. The motion sensor and light sensor work fine and the light is very bright and wide.Never worked. Plugged in the light a while after I received it (past the Amazon return deadline) and it flashed on for an instant and immediately turned off. No signs of life after that. I've tried multiple electrical outlets and turned all the dials with no response. Unfortunately it looks like I'm out of luck after buying a no name branded light. Buyer beware.

Good value, but bracket's a weak point
This is a good light for the price: Motion detector works well, time can be set as high as 8 minutes, and they're very compact in size, with an aluminum and glass housing. The weak point, for my salt-air environment, is the mounting bracket: It's thin stamped steel. At the coast where I live, I know that will rust in 6 months, and will become seriously weakened in a year. Too bad they couldn't have spent an extra buck to make the bracket aluminum or some other material less susceptible to weather.
