Great product and has a rich dark walnut colour. Need to apply fast as it dries out on the wood. Got a slight semi Matt finish.

Rich colour. Not like locally available alternatives. Small quantity is enough for large area. Just one coat is sufficient. Of course you can't build up shade by shade. You will get the darkest color in the first shot.

Was skeptical at first but the colour turned out really great once i was done varnishing the table...

The color payout is lovely. But its not as fast dyeing as you are made to believe. Also taking the stain off the brush post use is a huge effort. Tip- if you are planning to use this stain on expensive wood products, then i would suggest don't . The color is opaque and all woodgrain vanishes. Also the shade on the tin is misleading. The actual color may be nothing like the shade

Red Oak stain
I first bought the Red Oak stain. It is actually very brown, I wanted more red. So I bought Barn Red, and it is just too red. For me anyway. But I mixed Red Oak and Barn Red in 1:1 mixture and got exactly what I wanted. See the picture it is red oak wood, stained with a 1:1 mixture of Barn Red and Red Oak stains. Good quality stain.
