4 out of 7 pieces arrived broken.
I was so excited to get this kennel set up for my special needs dog who has difficulty using his back legs since he became partially paralyzed. Upon arrival four is the seven sides of the kennel were broken. I initially was going to request a replacement and send the broken one back. However, the replacement wasn’t going to be here for up to 3 months!!! I couldn’t wait that long as I had already been saving for 6 months to get this kennel and the one he had been using wasn’t safe/sturdy enough.My husband and I decided to take a chance and repairing the broken pieces ourselves. 90 minutes later we had drilled out the broken dowels and replaced them with new ones and used wood glue to hold them in place. The repairs have dried and I was able to assemble the kennel, but it didn’t line up as well as it should (probably would have had the sides not been broken).The design for holding the wood pieces together is terrible. IKEA does a better job of engineering that kind of assembly. Changing the dowels for screws would make the entire kennel so much more sturdy and it would likely survive shipping that way.I am very sad it was broken.We were able to repair it to work for the time being. Hopefully it lasts.

Manufacturing issue, otherwise good.
Overall pleased with product except on multiple panels the wood glue broke down so they were technically broken, but easilyfixed with more wood glue.Saw a similar review with the same issue on the Petco page from someone who purchased this product from them so it must be a manufacturer issue.When folded out, the kennel is very big and takes up a lot of space. When doubled up, it is the standard size for a large kennel. Could probably hold a 40-50 lb dog comfortably.

Do Not Buy
Concept is great but product very poor quality. Piece broken when received and we glued but still doesn’t fix problem. Screws keep coming out and pen comes apart.
