DISNEY!!! Who wouldn't be happy hearing this word? Walt Disney! This man still fascinates me. He was a crazy man full of ideas and working hard towards them. He always inspires me. Though his most popular cartoon, Mickey Mouse, is my least favourite cartoon of all times but this guy made things last. The Disney World! Who would have thought it was a one man's idea and creation?! He was one of the very few crazy men of the past who still intrigues me and motivates me. And always will. This one book seems like it has been written to suit middle grade. Still I enjoyed the brief biography. The illustration is awesome! An easy, fast paced read.

Billig in Preis aber auch Inhalt
Sicherlich erhält der Leser einige Informationen über Walt Disney, aber schon vom Umfang des Buches ist das naturgemäß sehr begrenzt. Die Schrift ist groß und der Inhalt leicht, die Zeilenabstände sind für ein Buch außergewöhnlich groß, Fotos gibt es keine, dafür mäßige Zeichnungen, einige meist historische Ereignisse werden parallel zur Entwicklung in Disneys Leben gegenüber gestellt, am Ende des Buches erfolgt eine kurze Übersicht der für Disney bedeutenden Jahre. Nach einer halben Stunde hatte ich das Buch durchgelesen (das Englisch ist recht leicht). Bei dem günstigen Preis für das Buch darf vermutlich auch nicht mehr erwartet werden...

Love these little books, easy reads for kids and full of lots of facts and knowledge ! My daughter (8) read this book herself in less than a few hours. She enjoyed it and learned lot !

Great Biography
My daughter used this book for the biography she had to read in 2nd grade. It is a great book. There are pictures on most pages so it helps keep attention of young readers. It was easy to read and very informative. We've watched lots of Disney movies and visited Disney parks, so it felt relevant to her. And, gave her some good background information.
