We use these in our Halloween decorations every year to make our cauldrons boil! They look great as they produce ample mist and slowly cycle through a rainbow of colors.The power plug is not permanently attached to the unit and there's a rubber bung attached to the cable on the fogger side. This is so you can drill a hole through your water vessel (above the water line) and feed the cable out without having to run it up over the top. This allows you to discretely hide and route the cable. I use a little bit of electrical tape to secure it down.We leave this outside all month long in the elements and it manages just fine. If the water level gets too low the unit will burn itself up, so be sure to top of the water as it will evaporate over time. I usually check it once a week.

I used this for an outdoor Halloween decoration in a witch's cauldron. I had it on a timer to turn on at night. The mist produced was not a dramatic amount, but adequate, and the changing light was easily visible from the road. It works as advertised and kept working ... outdoors ... submerged in water ... for six weeks! When I took it in, it appeared a little rusted but I cleaned it with a toothbrush and it was still working as normal. For the low price I expected a disposable Chinese product, but I put it away to use next year! I'm very impressed.

I bought two. One from here and one from a different company just in case. Both seemed to not work at first and I was so disappointed. But then I watched a video in the comments that said to unplug the stuff from everything and plug back in and boom it worked! Good amount of smoke. Only issue was the amount of water that still splashes out even with the splash guard. WIll be perfect in a deep bowl but other than that it gets everything wet around it.

Super confusing. In order to even see the mist it seems like it has to be in a flat dish which seeing the actual mister is not visually appealing. When I put it in this 7 inch cauldron you have to look inside of it to even see the mist. Standing near it you can’t even see the mist. I tried putting it in many other items to see if I can get it to where the mist will lightly smoke out of the bowl. I put it in a bowl, this cauldron, a shallow skull head bowel and nothing. Super disappointing I would have liked if it would be powerful enough to where the smoke can just lightly peek out of the top of the cauldron. Also not to say that it squirts out water if you don’t have the waterproofer on it and in order for the mister to be high enough to where you can see the mist coming out of the cauldron you have this giant plastic waterproofer sticking out of your decoration so water isn’t spraying everywhere. (The mister on in the picture provided, I have tried many different water levels I’ve tried propping it higher in the cauldron and you cannot see the most unless you look directly inside of it)

I give it 3 stars because it works and creates mist. It looks cool but I would've liked it to create a bigger "fog". If you just want a small mist around the area you are setting it in, this is good for the price and size.

I liked that this product was very easy to use and set up. It starts misting and making fog right away. The amount of mist also depends on the vessel ur putting it in. I used it for Halloween in my witch's cauldron which is actually very large and I used 2 of these misters, 2 misters created a pretty good amount of fog but I probably could've used one more just because of how big it was and how open my cauldron is, but that's just my preference. I do like how it changes colors automatically giving a really good witches brew effect but I do think it would've been nice to be able to select 1 color. If you're thinking about getting these I highly recommend! If you're using in a closed vessel (jack-o'-lantern) one mister will be enough and have a cool effect.

(Update) I unplugged the input wire and bam. It started fogging. Honestly it came attached and i didnt think to unplug them and replug. I do apologize for my lack of quick thinking. This little thing is so cool and I'm now excited again. So, if it does not fog or fully light up right out of the box, unplug the connectors and that hopefully will fix yours too.Plugged it in and only two lights work and no fog. I did different water levels, wiped ceramic disk with q-tip, still nothing. It was cheap so I expected this but a little bummed out because I was excited. Seemed like a better option than dry ice for Halloween.

The Halloween Party Mist Maker Fogger is awesome once you get the water level just right. It puts out a cool, thick mist that’s perfect for creating a spooky vibe. The waterproof frame is a nice touch, and it’s been running great for our Halloween setup. Super fun and effective—highly recommend!

Fairly certain I was sent a returned product that was never inspected. The plastic pieces don’t clip together properly, and the two bowl like parts are the exact same size, which makes it impossible for the mist to work as intended. If you use just the bottom bowl, water sprays everywhere. If you use just the top, the mist bounces right back into the water. All in all, terrible design and quality control. Now I have to go out of my way to find a specific return center just to return this piece of junk.
