These are kind of like the Sharkbites of electrical. For larger-gauge wires, like 6-gauge for a 50-amp 220v, working with them in junction boxes is horrible. These things really work- I easily fit a 3-wire 220v into a 4" box. Advice- don't test crimp these. They have a little metal sleeve inside that is only good once. Make sure you wire is down there deep, then crank down that allen head tight. The entire body of these connectors is insulated, so working with MC cable and metal boxes is safe. Its best to have the wires come into the box all in parallel, they will fit the connectors better. Hopefully these get cheaper, I don't think they'll replace wire nuts for 110v wires, but for 220v stuff, these are really great.

They worked great connecting two wall ovens and a cook top but one of them had a cross threaded screw which was disappointing. At the cost of these you should expect no problems. I gave for stars for one of the twelve not usable. You would think tighter is better but when tightening one of the last connections it had pinched the wire off. Now I'm nervous about the other connections.
