Making Jewelry with T-Shirt Yarn: How to Create Fabulous Fabric Accessories (Design Originals)

I really thought I would like this book because I'm interested in taking anything and turning it into jewelry. For me, the designs are ok, but I didn't see anything that hit the wow factor. Nice book to have around just in case you want to try this, but I look forward to seeing this topic explored further in another book.

This book shows you how to tie dye your own yarn. So far I have notfound the white tee shirt yarn and I was sort of hoping that I could find itpredyed...this will be messy and time consuming.But I do like the look of the finished result so I will probably try it.

This is a great concept; however, as an artist, I felt the author could have explored more creative possibilities. For example: surface painting, bead enhancement and more sculptural processes could have made this book a winner!

I haven't made anything yet but the instructions look easy. I'm going to try using some of my colored t-shirts instead of dyeing white ones.

Nothing extraordinary.

Clear instructions that are well illustrated. Variety of projects to suit different ages. Easy, inexpensive craft that is not too time consuming.

Going on a mission trip and will be making jewelry. Book was very clear thankyou

Not what I was expecting. It's not a book but more a kind of magazine. It's ok but nothing special.

Whilst the title is "Making Jewellery with T-shirt Yarn", the majority of the pages are concerned with making rosettes, and cutting the yearn. Jewellery - barely a page. Most disappointing.

For the money, this was very poor value - only 18 pages, more of a magazine than a book, only 8 designs, ( all on the same theme/technique) Don't waste your money.

Not worth the money. While what was in it was well photographed & would be easy to follow, it was however hardly more than a couple of pages so not a book in my mind. Hence not worth the money.
