Tree of Life Beauty Moisturizer, Hydrating, Firmer and Smoother Skin Non Greasy - Matrixyl 3000 Face Cream 1.7 Fl Oz

Goodness, what to say. I have very sensitive skin, and many products make my skin red and angry, or make me break out. I have a very sensitive nose, and most skin care products make me ill due to fragrances, even 'fragrance free' products. This moisturizer makes my skin soft and supple without irritating it, and extremely mild scent it has (just from the ingredients) goes away within ten minutes of spreading it on my skin (and my partner can't smell it at all - just my sensitive nose). I haven't gotten any directly in my eye, but most products even near my eye will make my eyes sting, and I haven't noticed that so far. I would say that this seems to be healing my skin, but I do use a different moisturizer in the morning, to avoid deactivating the retinol. This moisturizer is very light and absorbs quickly, and I like to have a bit of a protective barrier during the day if I'm not wearing sunscreen, keep my skin dewy. :) I will come back to this review in a month or two, see how it treats my skin over time, as retinol is definitely something that takes time to work. I'm fairly certain the skin around my eyes is already improved, less delicate and sunken, but it's only been a few days. I am 27, so barely seeing the signs of aging, but I'm happy to be starting early with giving my skin what it needs to be healthy and beautiful. I didn't have any trouble with the pump, and I like that I can dispense a very small amount at a time. The bottle is very pleasing to hold, and a good shape.

I have been using the Retinol Moisturizer for about three months and it is a quality product at a great price. I have always had sensitive skin and as I grow older (age 72) my skin has become drier. I use this at night after a good cleansing. It is very light weight, non-greasy, a nice light scent. I have been using products with Retinol and hyaluronic acid for some years now and they really do make a difference. Many of these products are pricey, though, and not always with the same positive attributes that I just mentioned. Results after my few months of use include smoother skin, noticeable decrease in wrinkles around mouth and eyes, overall brighter complexion. I am also using a gentle exfoliator about once a week. I love this moisturizer and just ordered my second bottle.

I really would like to know how much retinol is actually is in this formulation. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with this moisturizer. It goes on thinly and it's a nice enough moisturizer, but after well over a month of use, I have seen no change in the appearance of my skin. If you have dry skin, I don't think you will find this moisturizing enough. If you prefer a lighter moisturizer, then this is a good choice. If you really want an antiaging product, then I'd try one that states at least 1% retinol and work your way up to daily use. How fast you can start using a 1% formulation daily entirely depends on your skin type. I have a tube of 1% retinol that I started using a while ago starting with just my forehead. I found it a bit drying (flakiness) at first, but persisted, and now I can use it daily with no problem. I am also starting to notice positive changes in some fine lines that have become shallower in less than a month. My skin is smoother and more even too. I may have a way to go, but I'm a determined gal-good luck Update:7/1/15-Despite my wondering if this Retinol Cream had enough of a percentage of Retinol in it, I have continued to use it. I even bought my second bottle a while back. I have discovered over time that it seems to be working. I don't think I gave it enough time to do its thing since it is a milder form of retinol. What I did find out was that in my using a 1% retinol on certain areas of my face (forehead, between the eyes) last winter, that I was having an increased problem with dryness and flakiness in those areas. So now I am only using the Tree of Life Retinol Moisturizer and finding that my face is showing improvement (except when I do have a Rosacea flare, I don't use it then). I'm seeing some decreases in fine lines on my forehead, between my eyes, and on my upper lip and upper chin areas. I'm still not seeing any changes in the marionette lines. I especially like using it on my neck & chest area as my only moisturizer. I do use an additional moisturizer on my cheeks & temples where my skin is very dry. In my t-zone this moisturizer is sufficient in the summer months. It has a nice consistency--smooth, very spreadable, soft feeling. And my favorite fact about it is that there are no silicones at all (such as dimethicone) in it which tend to cause me plugged up pores. It's also loaded with other great ingredients for the face too such as aloe and hyaluronic acid (holds 1000X it's weight in water thus keeping the face plumped up and moist). Yes, my opinion has changed for the better, so IMO it is better to watch your progress over a longer period of time than 1 month to really see results.

I have been using Tree of Life Beauty products for a few years. I love their products. The Retinol and Vitamin C moisturizers work wonderful and the serums are exceptionally good.

Its too liquidy

I'm truly impressed with this product in every way. The packaging is unique with that pump design and I haven't had any problems with that whatsoever. I started by spreading two pumps every other night on my face, neck, and décolleté, and after about a week I had already moved on to nightly application. My skin has become so smooth and healthy looking that I am not wearing any foundation whatsoever, just a little translucent powder to kill the shine, and I haven't needed any filters on my selfies. I haven't had any trouble with burning in the sun or drying or breakouts or any of the retinol side effects that you might expect. I love the light fragrance and the soft texture. I've already purchased another one so it'll be here and ready to go when I run out of this first bottle. Can't wait to try out the other products by this company! Best skin care product I've tried in a very long time. UPDATE: It's been roughly six months since I started using this, and it continues to be my go-to. I still use it nightly and it continues to provide me with the same outstanding results! And I cannot get over that low price. Something comparable would probably cost me $40 at the drugstore and I simply cannot fathom spending that amount right now. For some reason I thought the packaging would be a problem, that the pump would stop working, etc., but I've probably used five or six bottles of this at this point and I've had no problems whatsoever. They've earned my loyalty and I'm eager to try their other products!

A great product. Very easy to apply because it goes on smoothly. Also, maybe it was just my skin, but there was a slight tingle, which was nice. It also seemed to firm my skin as well. Matrixl is a great ingredient to your skin care, if you aren't doing already. This was my first time to try the Tree of Life skin care line and I AM SO GLAD I DID. I also bought some other items I will write a review on. Although it was my first time using the products, I can tell you it will not be my last. They are great products and the price is crazy affordable. I have spent so much money on skincare throughout my life. Some were so expensive and looking back, I cannot say they were better than a more cheaper product. But with Tree of Life, I did notice a difference in my skin and sun spots were visibly lighter. Skin more firm and just an overall different look. I used for 30 days before I wrote this review. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I really do love these products in the short amount of time I've been using them. The serums are my favorite. And I'm excited to try the Scar Cream on my acne scars on my face and I want to see if it works for my strech marks on my belly from my prenancies. I started using all of these products on my belly a couple of days ago to see if they help reduce the appearance of my stretch marks and help the sagging belly skin from my pregnancies as well. I also love how these help keep my skin clearer from acne and blackheads, my pores are starting to look smaller, my skin isn't as oily and my dark spots are fading. I can almost go out without any face powder cover up now. My skin is looking more even and my deep forehead lines seem to be getting less noticable. Best skin care I've ever used so far, and I've used a lot! Plus, I LOVE the price of these, especially when there are these kinds of discounts and discounts for buying multiple products, since I always buy in bulk! I have always had acne prone skin that has a lot of texture and that gets super oily. I took accutane as a teenager but I still get hormonal acne and I'll be 40 next year! I started getting age spots as well and deep wrinkels in my forehead (expression lines) that I wasn't too happy about on top of the acne. This whole skin care line is so great and makes my skin look and feel amazing! I LOVE it and am so glad I found it!
