Epic Xylitol Peppermint Gum, 50 Pieces

It works very well, the flavor is good and if anyone has dryness of mouth or just wants to fteshen their mouth I highly recommend this gum

After doing research about xylitol and gum, I settled on this brand. Very expensive. Works out to be about 10c per chicklet. Starts out a bit firm in the mouth, but quickly becomes more like typical gum. It is low volume - some gums feel larger. It did not get caught in fillings or between the teeth. Yes, the flavor did wane a bit after chewing it, but it never went totally flat - in fact after expelling the gum when done, I still had a nice tingle and slight flavor reminant. I chose peppermint, which I recommend. One thing that I thought of while writing this: I am on a low/no sugar diet to lower a lean toward diabetes. Therefore, my mouth does not require heavy doses of refined sugar to detect "sweetness." A candy lover may require a more sugary boost; just say'in. Therefore, this product is heartily endorsed by me and I felt it was a good investment. I encourage other Xylo seekers to try it!

I quit smoking about 3 months ago and was chewing a lot of gum. My favorite gum was Peppermint cobalt 5. I was having a lot of gas and bloating and didn't know what was causing it. I have been eating a healthier diet and taking a lot of supplements and making smoothies at home. I did not know what in particular was bothering my stomach so I started eliminating different things to see if that was the problem. This went on for about 3 months and I finally thought about the gum I was chewing. The main ingredient is sorbitol and it contains aspartame. I remembered that years ago, I had a problem with sorbitol and a couple of years ago, I stopped drinking diet cokes because of the aspartame that was causing problems for me. I have chewed gum with sorbitol and aspartame in the past, but since quitting smoking, I was probably chewing a pack a day. I decided to try Epic with Xylitol and my problems with bloating and gas have stopped. It was great to finally find what was causing the problem. I will continue to purchase this gum even though the taste does not last very long but I guess that is the price for finding a natural alternative. I will say that I also bought PUR gum with Xylitol and it only tastes good for about 3 minutes. The taste of the Epic gum lasts much longer than PUR and is still tolerable after most of the taste is gone. With the PUR gum, as soon as the taste is gone, you might as well be chewing rubber bands. I will continue to try other brands of gum that don't contain sorbitol and aspartame.

This gum is refreshing and satisfying. The ingredients (including Xylitol) are much healthier than most sugar free gums. It's very good for your teeth. I've tried a lot of brands and this one is by far the best. I love the peppermint flavor, but the spearmint and wintergreen are good as well.

I’m having great results with this gum. My teeth look whiter and my gums are improving. Pro tip: only use after eating or drinking something. Only chew from 1-10 minutes max. Allow your natural saliva to do its job for about 1 hour. No food or drink of any kind after chewing for about 1 hour. Repeat use for anything you consume.

I love this gum, I was initially skeptical about getting $30 worth of gum but it exceeded my expectations. I just finished all of the gum and I do feel a difference not having it after meals to freshen up. The texture and taste is good for roughly ten minutes and then it loses flavor and the gum starts to get stringy. I have noticed with regular gum I feel as though my mouth is not nearly as fresh as when I am using this product (I used to chew Extra gum). I have left the container in a hot car in 85 degrees (F) and they do not melt together at all. My second purchase from this brand is the 500 pack as that is more value for my money.

I actually think the mint in this one might be strong enough to put hair on your chest. Seriously, it's that overpowering. I am a lover of mint. Love it in my chocolate, love it in my tea, love it in my bath salts, love it in my lotions, and back when I actually chewed gum and could eat altoids, loved it in my gum and boy did I love my altoids. And you know what? I definitely don't want hair on my chest, but I didn't buy this for me anyways, I bought this for my son, who has Autism among other things, a while back because I was looking for a gum product to try with him that he could use as an appropriate social sub for when he wants to chew on things to calm himself. He also can't have aspartame because of one of his other diagnoses. So, xylitol it is, and that's why this is one of the things I tested out. The reason the mint can be problematic for him is that he tends to react poorly to stronger mint flavors, and this is a pretty strong one in a slightly bitter way. I also found that like all xylitol gum. the flavor doesn't last very long at all. My daughter ended up chewing through this whole box rather quickly, she likes to chew gum. She says this gum was ok, it wasn't very memorable for her, other then it was very minty and pretty strong. So how the mint in this comes across could be a matter of individual preference. And I am happy to report, despite my bit of hyperbole in the beginning of this, she didn't sprout any hair as a side effect of this gum.

I love this gum! The peppermint flavor is refreshing without being overpowering, and knowing it’s xylitol-sweetened makes it feel like a smarter choice for my teeth. Satisfactory , I used it we when I have dry mouth . Not that sweet comparatively with the sugar free gum in the supermarket but quite expensive than that of the sugar free gum .
