Dickie Toys 48" Mega Crane and Truck Vehicle and Playset

My son loved it. This is a must buy if your kid is in to construction toys

My son loves construction trucks and his favorite are cranes so I knew he would love this. Took a chance despite some negative reviews and sure glad I did! Works perfectly for me. One thing that's annoying is the swing thing constantly fall apart but we used 8 tiny rubber bands (in this case orthopedic rubber bands) on the knob and now it stays in place. Just bought another as a gift!

I had high expectations for this toy, because I thought my son would love it. However, it was a little difficult to put together, and once it was assembled it is pretty wobbly. The thing needs a heavier base really, the plastic base makes it difficult to stay standing upright and even when putting counter weight in it just does not do the best job. My biggest complaint though is that a few weeks after paying 50 dollars for this, the price dropped to 30 dollars. Thats a pretty big difference, and for what it is 30 dollars is probably more realistic. My son does enjoy playing with this and thinking of all the combinations and things he can lift up. Update to add that the seller personally called me and was very apologetic of the price difference. Very happy to have such great customer service, and the fact that it was taken care of makes it all much better.

I purchased this after watching videos of it in action and have to admit I was skeptical before watching because of the low price. I'm glad I was pleasantly surprised. It has already taken several tumbles with zero damage sustained. The main operator is 3 1/2 years old and uses it to load his trucks. It comes with an open hook and a spring loaded claw for lifting devises. The only way I could improve this is to have a spring latch on the hook so it won't fall off of the load while there's no tension on the lifting line - but that's being REALLY picky, Everyone has taken turns and enjoyed it.

This item is cheaply made. The lift falls apart, the base is light so the product topples over, and the remote shorted out after a couple days of playing. This was a Santa gift for our 4-year old. Highly disappointed.

This crane is awesome for the price! It's built really well and the battery is still going strong after four months of everyday play. It was very easy to put together! Would recommend for children 4 and up! It's still my son's favorite toy!

Item was assembled and placed by the tree for X-mas morning. Boys were estatic and love playing with the crane. The size of the crane is tall as described. It is truly fun for them to play with, however the horizontal movement of the lift toward and away from the vertical trunk of the crane has never worked. I'd love to have the item simply replaced but no replacements are seem available. The crane rotates 350 degrees and lowers/lifts items as anticipated. It functions well enough for the boys to play with but would have been great if this last aspect would have also worked.

I waited to review this toy a full year. Love the Dickie toy prices but was apprehensive about buying, compared to other companies offering a similar toy at double the price. I rolled the dice and after that year, this crane is still standing and operating. It gets the full workout with two boys under 10. They have to troubleshoot it on occasion, but always 'fix it'. Operating a remote control is a big attraction. Dickies please come out with more 'action figures' to incorporate and buy separately. Recommend this for kiddos at least 5 or older.

Für den Preis ist der Kran völlig in Ordnung. Leider ist der öfters umgefallen, nicht von selber sondern beim ausgiebigem spielen, ich kann aber nicht beurteilen ob es bei den anderen Spielzeugen genauso ist. Der Zusammenbau war einfach. Wir haben dann das Unterteil modifiziert, so hat er einen viel besseren Stand.

Great toy for crane obsessed kids. A lot bigger than I thought it would be, our son loves it. Although I didn’t pay much attention to the age guidelines and there are parts that are a little small and tricky to use but overall a great success.

The product is great. well happy with it as well as with the little one that got it from Santa. Poor Santa though, the box is massive, way too big to be honest and could have some thinking to reduce its size. Its the only down side really. Assembly took around 5 mins, with another 5-10 for stickers but playing was already in progress so no issues there. recomend it, excelent value for money.

Mi sobrino está encantada con ella, es muy grande y rota sobre si misma 359º hasta el tope que tieene que hacer en sentido contrario, el mando se ha llevado ya unos golpes y sigue funcionando. La torre también se ha caido... cosas de crios y no se ha roto, solo se desmonta la parte superior

Le gusto mucho a mi hijo.
