First night was great.
I got this yesterday, and was amazed at the first nights sleep. I'll try to update the review after a week to cover long term results. What I can say after the first nights use is... wow. I had a snore app running on my phone that I have used for weeks, and I compared the difference with my first night with this product, and it is a world of difference. The vibration didn't wake me, but was apparently enough to make me move which stopped me from snoring. The ZEEQ app setup was pretty painless, and the app seems to have nice features. I'll know more as I accumulate data and experiment. The pillow is a little firm, but I haven't made any adjustments to the chipped foam yet. I'll report back on comfort once I see what customization I can do. Again... I'll post again when I have a better sample.

Returned- uncomfortable/terrible technology
Unfortunately returned this product, the pillow although had removable โfluffโ was uncomfortable as it would bunch up in some places, it caused serious neck pain. Although it came in a fancy box and looked official this needs a lot of work technology wise. The app was terrible definitely needs a lot of updates. I had it for a week and it tracked my sleep 1 time I would start the sleep and see it recording but wake up and it would ask me to start sleep again and not record anything. The speakers worked great when they would connect, often disconnected randomly. Very disappointed I had really high hopes.

All fake reviews - Updated after I broke down and bought one
OK, I was one of the one's calling out "fake reviews", but I was really curious, so I bought one... I've been using it for about a week. Here are my initial thoughts: The pillow does not fit in standard pillow cases. If you try to force it in there, the result is a pillow that is too tall and hard to sleep on. When using the included pillow case, the pillow is very firm, but not uncomfortable. I have to shop for more pillow cases to see if this will ultimately be a problem. You can supposedly adjust the firmness of the pillow by removing filling. They include extra filling for some reason (I can't see ever wanting to add more). I have not tried removing filling yet, but I will. The electronics inside the pillow can sometimes be felt. I have not found this to be a major problem, but it seems like maybe they could have made those components thinner. For the retail price of this pillow, it seems to me that this should have been done to eliminate the possibility of feeling the electronics. The snore monitor and sleep score features are pretty inaccurate. The snore monitor should be directly tied to the motion monitor so that noise from motion is not viewed as snoring. Every time you turn over or adjust position, the pillow sees the motion and you can see the overlap in that motion with what the pillow is calling snoring. Why this wasn't part of the software design is beyond me. The sleep score isn't very accurate because it assumes that the second you push the button, you are asleep. If you forget to push the button as soon as you are awake, the pillow thinks you are still asleep (even if you are no longer in bed). I don't see a way around this without additional data points like heart rate or gyroscope attached to the person being tracked. Maybe they can develop an add-on that goes under the sheet that could grab heart rate to measure depth of sleep (this is one area where trackers like Microsoft Band do well - but wearing things on your wrist in bed stinks) and at least body pressure so that if you get out of bed (and stay out for x minutes), the software retroactively kills the sleep schedule from the point that you got out of bed. The snore alarm gives false alarms when you move around a lot. I cannot say for sure if the alarm actually works as intended since I can see lots of snore monitor activity triggering when there is motion but not much without Morton. Note: You can see where the alarm went off when you zoom in. The music feature was something I thought I'd have no use for, but it's actually kind of nice. The speakers work fairly well but getting the volume set to the right level can be a challenge. Bluetooth connectivity / App usage. This is an area that could use a little more work (specifically for the music features of the pillow), I use iOS (both iPhone 7 and iPad Pro); I have not tested with Android so the results there may be different. The setup process is not painful. The usage process if you want to listen to music is where things don't always work smoothly. When you get into bed and start up the app, it finds the pillow without issue, but if you go to play music, most of the time I find that the sound comes out of the phone or iPad rather than the speakers. You have to dick around for a while to get the sound redirected to the pillow. When you are tired and trying to unwind in bed, this isn't something you want to have to dick with. Further, if you happen to have the sound on the phone/iPad set at an unfriendly level, and your spouse is in the bed asleep, the result of this is far from stellar. Once you have the sound coming out of the pillow speakers and the volume set correctly, it's nice. Autosleep - Not exactly. It notes that you are in bed and immediately starts to track sleep. See my thoughts above about having to tie in additional data points to make this accurate. I tried it for two nights and turned it off because I tend to sit in bed reading or looking at a tablet for 45-60 minutes before sleeping. The App is still buggy. Autosleep toggle is not functional on the iPad but works on the iPhone. App occasionally crashes. Music control for Spotify is horrible - it pulls playlists you have the first time but will not update the playlists ever again. It also goes through the "authorization" process virtually every time you try to use it. This needs a ton of work to make it not suck. So, after what reads as a highly negative review, why give it four stars? Well, the pillow itself is well made and pretty comfortable given how firm it is. I think when I get around to removing a little of the filling it will be more comfortable (and I will update the review at that point). I actually have found that I am sleeping a little more restfully with this pillow compared to my prior pillow. I'm optimistic that the snore alarm works since I don't think my wife has punched me awake since I started using the pillow (maybe I should ask her....). I suspect that the manufacturer will probably fix some of the app issues to make it suck a little less. I'm deducting a 1/2 star for the crappy Spotify integration and a 1/2 star for making the pillow a non-standard size and there is no way to fix that. The rest of the pillow is pretty decent overall so I'm not deducting stars at this point. I'm going to continue using it for the rest of the month before I make a decision on keeping it. I'll update the review after the return period closes irrespective of whether I keep the pillow.

UPDATE: Damned pillow works.
Originally my review, wasn't very good. The pillow app simply didn't seem to work. I was contacted by the support team for the APP I downloaded from android market and we spent a few weeks troubleshooting. Toward the end, I was ready to leave an even worse review, and get my money back. Guess what, I changed my mind. I'm leaving the pros and cons behind but here's what I've found. yes, it took a month of troubleshooting to find out it was an issue with the app most likely. I believe that what ever the problem was, they've fixed it in the newest update. During that entire time where sometimes the pillow would connect, and sometimes it wouldn't, I let my eye stray from the ball. Let go of the main question. On the days it all connected up, DID IT WORK? Well yes, it actually did. I bought the pillow because my wife was ready to kill me in my sleep so she could get a few hours. I hate the nasal things up my nose and I'm allergic to the adhesive in the strips. Thus the pillow. For the last few months, my wife has gotten more sleep than she has in a long time, believe it or not, thanks to this pillow. When it worked. IF IT REALLY WORKS, why only 4 stars? Well, because I had to spend a month troubleshooting it with a support team and basically restarting it twice each night with a check to confirm to get it to work. Now it seems to work just fine, so one star loss for the PITA the troubleshooting process was. Pros Very comfortable feels like a memory foam pillow with stuffing you can add and remove for comfort. 50$ for a pillow like that isn't uncommon. The case is very soft and removable for cleaning. The electronics and parts inside are concealed well enough you can't feel it. The speaker option is really cool. The alarm function is pretty awesome and works well to wake you. The app support is wonderful and quick to respond and communicate. When it all works, it does work, depending on how you set the sensitivity it will buzz (doesn't feel like it actually vibrates) and just enough I don't recall in the morning, but my wife says I adjust before she hears me snore. Cons Simply put its great when and if it works. From day one I had problems getting it to register results. None for the first 2 days then finally got some. Reached out for tech support from app and they were great. The problem is the instructions given were what I already did with the exception of turning off all functionality except for the snoring function. So no alarm no speakers etc. Just snore. That worked 50% of the time over almost 2 weeks. 2 nights it randomly vibrated 5 times every 5 minutes for about 3 hours and would not turn off. It ended up on the other side of the room. That means I got 50% use of 50% of the features. Also the sensitivity kind of sucks. you have to find a balance. I listen to white noise or audiobooks to go to sleep. Sometimes, when I move my head several times in a short time it picks up the noise and goes off, or sometimes other noises like my books or white noise cause it to go off while I'm still trying to go to sleep. I can't figure out how to see historical information so can't see trending. Instructions really suck.

Great smart pillow
First time use testing it out fell asleep. Woke up and added more of the filling and it hurt my neck. Took some out and out like a light again. Update: I purchased another one for my manager. He has stage 4 cancer and he loves it. The only issues I have had was getting the sleep to start using auto start. Thinking it didnโt start I close out the app and go back in and it has started. Just did not look like it did. Also the guy talking about pillow case. Everyone of our pillow cases fit great. Maybe he using a little baby pillowcase but I will upload pictures. Also I did not pay that 2 bill price not even 1 bill. Great deal great pillow may order my mom one also.

Nice Concept But Did Not Work For Me - Be Sure To Test Thoroughly Within Amazon 30-Day Return Window
Summary: Interesting concept and good craftsmanship. However, overall, the anti-snore features did not work for me. In fact, the few times it worked as intended -- i.e. vibrating "gently" due to snoring -- I woke up feeling queasy and unsettled. It basically ruined my day. On most nights it did not even vibrate despite my snoring (as reported by my spouse). For these reasons I returned it within the Amazon 30 day time window. Takeaway -- If you decide to try the pillow, be sure to do plenty of testing within the Amazon 30 day time window so you can return it! Note - I purchased and used this back in late October 2017 but then returned it so perhaps it's been improved since then. However, I decided to still post a review so potential buyers at least know what to look out for. Details: I purchased this because of a rave review I saw in a newspaper article on new technologies for sleeping. - The pillow itself has a top layer of memory foam, then an adjustable layer of shredded foam, and then the electronics. The case is zippered case to allow easy access to adjust the overall firmness. It comes with extra shredded foam so you can make firmer, but I found it much too firm as delivered so I removed some foam after my first use. - I normally use a shredded foam pillow and have no problems getting comfortable. I found the memory foam layer hot when side sleeping, so I switched the memory foam with the shredded foam and that helped. - However, the shredded foam was much lumpier than my current shredded foam pillow, so I added a quilted pillow cover on top and that made the pillow comfortable. (Medflow https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003J372PG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) - I had a lot of problems getting the app to work properly with my Android phone (perhaps this is better now since this was 6 months ago). It was also hard to figure out. Fortunately, Zeeq's technical support was very responsive, so my suggestion would be to contact them right away if you have problems rather than letting yourself get frustrated. - Syncing with Bluetooth was also spotty, especially for the music and Wake-up Alarm features, and there is no Test button so you don't know if it is working or not. I would also suggest initially just setting up the basic Snore functions and holding off the other features like Wake-up Alarm and playing music until you have the basic features working and you have determined that you like them. - As noted in the summary, I did not find the primary stop snoring/vibration concept to work. Usually it didn't go on at all (even though I have independent verificiation that I was snoring), and the few times it did go off it was much more jarring than I would have expected -- even on the minimum vibration intensity setting. And on those days that it did go off, it disturbed my sleep in a way that left me feeling queasy and unsettled for the entire day. - The pillow has a set of blinking lights and manual controls which are handy at night. Unfortunately they were completely un-intuitive, but there is a little card with the code for what the blinking and colors mean that I suggest memorizing if you want to use them. All-in-all, the anti-snore technology didn't work for me The pillow was well made and high quality, but without the anti-snore technology it was much too expensive to keep so I returned it within the Amazon 30 day window. If you decide to try it, make sure you immediately set it up and try it so you don't get stuck if you don't like it..

Amazing pillow
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PILLOW. Got 1 for my husband and I and it has helped with the snoring, monitoring our sleeping patterns and able to listen to music or audiobooks without disturbing anyone is AMAZING.

Does not work at all
I was initially excited about the pillow and couldn't wait for it to arrive. I'm a heavy snorer and thought the sleep tracking and snore alarm would benefit me a lot. I went through the process of setting everything up and making sure it connects to the app I had to download the first night. I was a little bit troubled after seeing that the app itself hasn't had an update since January.......2019. Everything seemed to be working ok so I wasn't too worried. First night I started the sleep tracking and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning and turned the sleep tracking off as instructed and waited for the results to show up. Nothing. Went back and read the instructions again to make sure I did everything correctly and yep I did. Noticed my neck was hurting also so I adjusted the memory foam in the pillow and tried again the next night. Still won't sleep track after 2 nights of use and my neck and shoulder is hurting worse. Not a comfortable pillow imo and worse of all the app is busted with 0 support. Paid $49.99 for a busted brick basically. I wouldn't reccomend to anyone.

The pillow is good, the app is BAD
Guys fix your app!!! I'm not going to list the issues, everyone is telling the truth. I gave this a chance because I read the reviews and thought so what, the app is probably a little bad. No it's REALLY BAD. Like did some first-year-dropout programmer code this? C'mon guys this pillow is too expensive to have this buggy of an app. It's an embarrassment. I'm only second year engineering and I could probably make a better app.

Need up to date technology
It doesn't work unless you download the app and the app isn't available on the phone for the person I bought it for ..
