After it's set up through the app, does your phone need to be within "range" for this to work?

Yes! invisaWear uses Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with a paired smart phone. So your phone needs to be within Bluetooth range (typically about 30 ft). Hope this helps, let us know if you have any more questions!

Does this service work on overseas phone numbers/networks?

I hope you're having a wonderful day! Thank you so much for your interest in invisaWear. At this time, invisaWear only works in the U.S. We are hoping to release an update to the app in the next few months that will allow it to send a text message with the user's location to their 5 pre-selected contacts to let them know that they need help even if they're outside the United States. However, at this time, it only works in the United States. If you have anymore questions, please don't hesitate to let us know and thanks again for your interest in invisaWear!

Is it waterproof or needs to be removed for shower and swimming?

Hi Miguel, thanks so much for your message! The invisaWear charm is sweat and weather resistant, so it should be fine if you get caught in the rain or if you're sweating from working out. We don’t recommend wearing it in the shower or submerging it in water. I hope this helps and let us know if you have any additional questions!

When u press the alert does it show up on ur phone that u activated it? Such as in a domestic violence situation where u ouldnt want someone 2 know.

At this time we do not have a way to customize the notification on your phone, but we are looking into adding this feature in future updates to the app.  Right now it says:
We're notifying ADT and then a second message says emergency click detected.  You can cancel if you have accidentally triggered.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Thank you.
