Purchased two pairs for myself and the wife for a recent trip to Norway and initially was satisfied with the product as they performed very well on the ice covered streets giving you the confidence to walk without the fear of slipping. However, it wasn't long before our opinion of the product was to change. The crampons are constructed in a manner of a stretch fit over the front and back with a Velcro strap to secure the crampon to the boot. Often the rear rubber fixing would come off the boots completely , one of the ice spikes came adrift and finally on one occasion when stretching the rubber to fix the front strap this snapped rendering the crampon useless.

Performance was good until product fell apart after a single use. More robust method of attaching the spikes to the silicone component needs to be considered as I lost a number of spikes after wearing them once. Very disappointed in the quality. Would rather not give any stars for this product. The idea is good - but the method of attaching the spikes to the silicone is heavily flawed.

I was a little skeptical about these and was hoping to be proven wrong but alas that’s not the case. At the weekend I decided to visit Snowdon and at altitude it was Crampon conditions . Unfortunately for me these provided little to no grip in snow, kept falling off and I noticed by the end of it (only warn for a couple of miles if that) a few of the studs had fallen off.To summarise, these are light weight, flexible and probably great for walking down the shop on an icy morning.

Great product to keep me from slipping on the ice and snow. These have really come in handy this year. I like the style. Other brands tend to fall off my snow boots. These stay on. Highly recommend.

Great product. Helped me walk safely on frozen paths whilst on excursions in Iceland with no issues or worries whilst all around were slipping and sliding. Even bit into frozen paths besides a waterfall! These have a fantastic bite an no worries of the cleats pulling out like some other “replaceable” types.

Hi I'm writing to you to say I'm not very happy with songwin ice cleat spikes for has two spikes come out witch they should not of done I got them for has they was five stars n I would of given you five stars but you got three I'm disappointed for has I'm disable n not gd with ice on my feet I got them just after xmas with my xmas money I got I really like them hope you can help me

I feel confident when I’m walking. No slips on the ice! And my dog likes them too,I can wear it and walk with the dog every day.very perfect.

I bought this for my grandfather. He is already 70 years old, especially worried that he fell on the snow.He used this product for a few days without falling, and increased confidence when walking.He is very happy to have it.
