Warmth Without Bulk
I was looking for socks to keep my feet warm on my recent expedition to Antarctica. These socks were perfect. They kept my feet toasty warm and dry without the bulkiness of my wool socks. I didn't need a sock liner because these were super soft-not itchy in the slightest. I plan to get another pair for my next cold-weather trip.

Superior in every way
A blind person could not feel any seams in these. They fit great: not too boxy of a toe, not too tight or loose at the calf. They are good-looking on- the photos don't do them justice. If a host asks you to take off shoes, you'll be proud of how your feet look. The only possible con is that they shrink a tad, which is proof of wool content. They are mid to light weight. Not super thick, but still warm. I absolute love them.UPDATE: They only looked slightly shrunk after washing, but when I put them on, they were as pretty and warm and comfy as the day I got them. I can't say enough good about these socks!

Warmest sock, sweat wicking
First I can’t believe I’m just hearing about these now. I ride horses and also ski, I struggle with my feet sweating when I get warmed up then end up freezing after the fact. I’ve opted for regular weight socks bc of this, and usually end up cutting things short due to my feet being cold. I tried these today, 31 degrees and did not have an issue at all! Finally my feet didn’t freeze and they stayed warm/totally dry. I’m so happy I found these, and also bought a 3 pack. I bought the boot socks, they are perfect!!

Looks small, but fit great and kept my feet warm
I thought the design was attractive, and they are thin enough to fit underneath boots and shoes. So far so good as far as them staying up, and I will be careful about not putting them in the drier.

Superb Quality, Superb Performance
My dad bought me these socks for skiing. They are fantastic! I have read that alpaca fiber is warmer than wool, and after wearing these, totally agree. The weave is really nice and tight, so I am doubting they will get threadbare or anything like that ANYtime soon. My "test wear" was pretty good, as I wore them in freezing temperatures for eight solid hours. I was skiing most of that time. Some of my friends were getting numb toes (and I am myself an innately very, very cold person, with plumb awful circulation) but my toes were actually WARM the whole entire time! I could enjoy myself so much more when not having to take breaks for chilly toes, or constantly wiggling them to keep them warm. I did not even think about my feet, which for me, is how it should be.The rest of the sock is very nice, too. I was a little skeptical about the wove in padding business; but it must be there, and it certainly works. Usually my shins feel bruised and sore after skiing, but a few days later and I do not feel a thing! I even had my boots buckled tighter than usual. So on that vain, I am totally impressed.I feel the pattern is quite nice for a "sport" sock, it is cute, but still classy, and even has a bit of a sporty look. They are the absolute perfect length, too. (I am 5' 61/2")If you are thinking about buying these socks for a good reason, buy them. They are worth every single penny. They are multiple win socks.Superb quality, superb performance, all the way.

Very comfy
Liked these more than I thought. Bought them for snowboarding and our feet and legs were nice and warm the whole time. They are now my favorite house socks too!

Perfect warm sock that can be worn for days and days
I'd heard that alpaca doesn't need to be washed very often, so I put these to the test during a winter vacation. I wore them for 4-5 days in between washings. Not only did they 100% keep their shape, but there wasn't even a hint of smell to them. Totally recommend these socks and will get them for my husband next time too! Now I'll be looking for some alpaca no show liners for the summer months!
