Good quality and fit for my camera. I purchased my camera from a Kmart store and since it was a display model the charger was not included in the purchase. Prior to purchasing the unit I looked up this charger on Amazon and when I came across this unit it sealed the deal for me to purchase the camera seeing the price was excellent. I would recommend this battery and charger to anyone who needs either something to displace their original unit or for a spare backup.

I bought This battery &charger for our new Sony CX-220 camcorder . The camcorder doesn't cone with one and I wanted a spare battery so this fit the bill . The battery seems to charge as quickly as the original and it last about the same time .The charger is a multi use type and requires that the provided adapter be snapped in place to charge the battery but it is also universal in that it can, use 12v car or 110 v house current . The kit even has an adapter for 220 volt European power receptacles . Good stuff !

Great backup charger and battery. Car adapter fits nothing

The charger works great. At first I thought it was a rip off because I couldn't fit the battery in and was about to return it. But you just have to really fit it and force it to click in place. I was relieved that it wasn't a dud. It doesn't charge as fast as the charger that originally came with the camera, but good enough. Overall a good purchase.

I had one of these for a few years and decided to pick up another battery AND charger for my Sony Handycam. Now, I never find myself wanting to film and not having a fully charged battery. I honestly have not had need for all the accoutrements that come with this charger, but I suppose if I was filming out on the road, it would be great to have a car charger!I've included a picture of the battery and charger plugged into the wall. If the battery is charged and ready to film, you'll see a green light, as in my picture. If not, you'll see a red light there in its place.Is it the best possible design and function? Probably not, but it certainly gets the job done. The folding plug helps make it easier to pack.

works at charging included battery and official Sony batteries. not much more to say.

I got tired of constantly worrying about how much battery life I had left to film the event I was shooting so I just purchased an extra battery & charger, problem solved. It works fine. Other reviews mentioned size issues. I agree it is a tight fit getting the battery snapped into place but was not a problem.

I needed this for my Camera Batteries.
