I pinned my down with two large metal hooks on each side of the jaw. Nothing comes with the skull.

It’s not a full skeleton, but yes, the pieces are life sized.

Does it work well for a cake? Or is it heavy

Depends what kind of cake you are doing? It's not very heavy but couldn't be used for something on a small scale.

No glow. Has color and texture like bone. There are glow-in-dark skeletons available, but they're not as realistic.
