Muehle Glashuette Watch M 29 Classic Kleine Sekunde. Since 1869, Muhle Glashutte is all about precise measurement. Already at the end of the 19th century, Robert Muhle created measuring devices capable of measurement accuracy to within hundredths or even thousandths of millimetres. In order to read these values precisely, the millimetres were displayed by a small macro dial gauge, and the large micro dial gauge made the fractions of the measuring unit visible. The new M 29 Classic Kleine Sekunde invokes this design and reinvents it in the language of timepieces by Nautische Instrument Muhle Glashutte. The seconds are precisely measured on the small auxiliary face whilst hours and minutes are displayed on the large main face. The parallels to its historical template are manifest right down to the details in this watch. The scale and the finely detailed hands create a striking contrast to the cream coloured or black face. Red indices at three, six, nine and twelve o'clock create points of reference and accentuate the instrument character of the timepiece. This makes the M 29 Classic Kleine Sekunde a successful design statement of a family tradition: passion for precise measurement.
