High Quality Watering Can !
It is expensive but worth every penny. The brass rose sends the water up so that it falls like gentle rain on the seedlings or plants. Perfect for foliar feeding. Since it is plastic it is lighter than some others when full of water. The plastic is rugged so I keep it in the truck. Thoughtful design makes this can a pleasure to use.

Most awesome watering can ever!
I simply LOVE this watering can! My husband bought one for me almost 20 years ago and it is still in use. I have always liked to have 2 watering cans - easier to tote two because equal weight on both sides of my body helps the back. So, because this is a pricey item, I've been using cheapies and it was stupid to do. After all these years I finally just got another Haws identical to the one I already have. The spray head distributes nicely and evenly - not too much water at once. The head also pivots so that I can water a pot at a side angle which is nice if I have root stimulator or plant food in the can because it puts it where I want it and does not waste it all over the patio.

Nice Can, Pretty Color, Just one little Glitch in the Design for Me.
This is a big red watering can and it looks great in the garden, the red really pops against the green of my plants. My last watering can was small metal Peter Rabbits style which I loved but it rusted out over the winter. I had looked at the Haws metal watering can the Red Peter Rabbit style because it was weather proof and had a great warranty, but just couldn't get past the price tag, too bad that is really the style I'm drawn too. So I decided on this style. This watering can is a sturdy thick plastic, Things I like: the Color is a beautiful red, The gold and red looks nice together. It's huge, so much bigger than my other broken one, so trips outside to water have been cut in half. I love the way the water softly sprinkles up and over in a graceful arch, It's so relaxing to watch.Things I'm not crazy about but can live with: I'm a short, over 50 woman, so this can when full is a little on the heavy side for me, but thats not really the cans fault, and I'm happy that I didn't get the more expensive one since it held even more water. I do find it easier walking with it with the spout facing backwards, don't ask me why, but its just more comfortable for me. The little spare part in the box, I wasn't sure what it was, so I tossed it in a drawer but now I know it's for a single stream of water, I don't think I'll ever use this, and can see it getting lost. What makes me deduct one star is the way that they designed finger placement grooves in the handle design. My hands don't fit comfortable into these grooves and I'd rather they left the handles just straight so my fingers can fit where they want too. When this can is full it's heavy and drives the pointy end of the finger grooves into my fingers -- not comfortable at all -- maybe it wouldn't be a problem if I had big strong hands, but I don't so I don't like it.I'm keeping it and considering a rag or gloves for my delicate fingers. It does water perfectly and I do love the look.

Haws Watering Can
A bit pricey, but waaaay cheaper than the metal cans. Very thick heavy duty plastic can, I have no doubt will outlast the metal cans. Well balanced when full and pours very well, excellent for bonsai trees requiring a gentle shower to preclude disturbing the soil. Well worth the price, excellent gardening tool, highly recommended.

My second Haws
Haws makes a very sturdy watering can. I had my other, slightly smaller one for probably 10 years until it finally cracked across the handle, then down the side. And I like that the opening is large enough for me to stick in my hand to mix and dissolve the granular fertilizer. A little pricey, but it should last a good long time. And the removable angled tip makes it easy to water smaller pots without having the stream overshoot the rim.

I loved this watering can for about 1 year (coincidentally this is length of the warranty). This watering can has the best rose / watering head out there. It puts out a delicate but substantial amount of water and provides excellent even distribution. Sadly that is about all this watering can has going for it.Two problems:1) poor balance. When filled with water, if carrying the can with the forward angled handle, the center of gravity is just a little too far back, requiring the user to apply a certain amount of torque to stabilize the can. Of course you can't carry it with the back handle without spilling2) The rear handle cracked down the back where it slots into the main body of the watering can. Clearly this is a design issue and broke under just the weight of water in the can, which it should be designed to handle (I promise I wasn't giving my kids rides on this thing around the yard or anything!). This crack occurred after one season of use. I attempted to glue the crack, but not too surprising, the epoxy didn't hold up here. See the photo for what I'm referring to.So now I'm stuck with the most expensive, rather useless watering can I've ever purchased. It does (did?) however, produce the most amazing delicate shower... Wish I could recommend this one, but I can't...

Very Disappointed
I was very disappointed in this rather expensive watering can. The supposed fine spray with the rose turned up is not and unless u tilt the can so there is full water pressure on the rose it just dribbles so no control over volume of water. Rose turned down works better. Balance carrying and using the can is good. Material seems of a good quality by the assembly was rough, again not what I would expect at this price. I can buy a $5 watering can at home depot that dribbles and has better control of the flow. At $55 the value is poor.

Excellent product!
Love this! It's replaced 3 different watering cans I used because of its versatility -- you can switch out the nozzle from a stream to a shower and works for large and small watering jobs. Due to its size it clearly gets kind of heavy when filled but the upper handle makes it easy to carry (very well balanced) and whether full or pouring the last drop there's no spillage so usable indoors and out. I've had mine for not quite a year but expect to use it for many years to come and highly recommend.

l'immagine del prodotto non corrisponde alla realtà'. The product image is not real.
The product image is not what I receive; the gold brand name on the side of the Can is missing!

Great watering can
This watering can is light, easy to carry and seems to be tough and hard-wearing. It is big enough for a good area coverage and small enough to dip in a water butt. Good value for money - if it lasts... and great that it comes in several colours, so cans for different uses or different areas can be kept separate. The fine rose is excellent for small plants, easily removable for saturating larger plants.
