Milwaukee pH600-AQ LED Economical Pocket pH Tester with 1 Point Manual Calibration, 0.0 to 14.0 pH, +/-0.1 pH Accuracy, 0.1 pH Resolution

This pH tester is easy to use and easy on the wallet. The calibration is easy and the tester comes with a screw-driver to do the calibration. It also comes with a packet of calibration fluid.I was initially drawn to this version of the tester because it has a hard plastic case. In retrospect, it's a silly feature. As with most (maybe all?) pH testers, you have to keep the sensor wet. So there's no way to store the tester in the hard case and keep it wet.Overall, this was a good purchase and it seems to work well. It's only annoying to have to store it in a cup of water or calibration solution.

This thing is nearly impossible to calibrate. The lady from the state who licenses me tried and also had a devil of a time getting it to calibrate to 7.0. When you turn the little screwdriver in the back, it jumps everywhere. I finally got it to 7.1 where it was sorta steady and tested my brine, which tested fine. If there's an easier way, I would love to know it. Wouldn't buy this one again.

do not expect a 100$ meter.but if you are looking for a work horse that will get the job done and not break the bank. look no further.I would recommend you buy two as I maybe get 6 months out of this meter, not because the meter dies but because I drop it in the water and it is not waterproof. (but since I only usally get 6-12 months from the 100$ meter, totally worth it.)Has it's draw backs and could be improved for sure but for what you pay and how accurate it is, it's the only meter I buy anymore, and I've owned them all.

If you have a unit that won't calibrate or that loses calibration after being stored correctly, total bummer. I've had two of these and the first one worked great for several years. After I had goofed up with it and it had dried up about a dozen times I replaced it (calibration wasn't sticking it seemed like). New one has been flawless since purchase and I'm now very conscious of proper storage.Do it, get a bottle of calib/storage solution to have around.. expect consistency.

I really like this PH meter, but...Calibrating it for the first time is time consuming because you need to search for a video on how to do it correctly. And then you need to store it wet and not let it dry out. Plus, for accuracy you are supposed to calibrate just before every use! This one is to be calibrated with the 7.01 solution only (not the other pH sout ions they sell). The packets are one time use. So had to buy a bottle of solution to keep my readings accurate. Overall,it does a great job and easy to read. Just issues with some of the calibration stuff and how often you are really sup posed to calibrate.

Very sorry piece of equipment. The lil adjustment must so very easily move cuz if I measure a liquids ph then put it on counter and use it seconds later it will give a different ph number. Buy a better quality one. :(

It a good ph meter for the price very easy to calibrate and the item comes with the simplest instructions to make easy as possible

Way to expensive for what it does, also takes a couple minutes to settle in the water for a proper reading but that is no big deal.Seems accurate but nothing to compare the readings to...This item should be a 5 or 10 dollar MAX !
