Gigabyte MMO Gaming Mouse (GM-Thunder M7)

I was hesitant in buying this originally due to the fact that there were no reviews. But I decided to give it a try. I used to have a Logitech g700 and it took a little getting used to the different button layout.Now that I'm used to it, I think it's great for the types of games I play.The feel of the mouse takes a little getting used to too. But that only takes a couple of hours to get used to it.That being said, I'm glad I bought this mouse. It has so many different features and customization options available to it. The only thing I wished it did have was the option to add weights to it. That would complete it fully.Pros : Different colors depending on which profile you have it on so you can tell just by looks. Up to 8200 dpi speed with on the fly switching. 150 IPS which is switchable (125Hz - 1000Hz) 16 buttons that can be programmed into anything you can think of. On the fly profile switching with visual indicators. Huge 20 million click lifetime. (not fully tested by me yet lol)Cons : The wheel doesn't feel mechanical like I was used to, but that may just be me.Overall it's highly customizable to fit any of your needs whether it be gaming or browsing or whatever.

I recently bought AORUS M7, and it is a nice product! Probably one of the best gaming mouse I ever owned. 16 programmable buttons, comfortable right - handed style grips, and great design.However, unlike the mouse, I realized that there were few problems to the software.First problem is there are only 5 limited profiles to create. As you guys know, some people need more than 5 profiles. Especially this mouse is too good not only for MMO, but also for FPS games.Second, the profile does not change automatically. As you guys know, Logitech and Razer Software, for example, they have programs that if I make a profile and set up for certain game, the profile change automatically when I run that game / program. However, this software does not support this system yet.Last but not least, I can not choose programs shortcuts. For example, in AORUS software, there are only media player and internet shortcuts, however, there are no system that I can add links or program shortcuts to the button.Overall, this mouse is pretty nice product. However, ironically, the software is the one that limits the mouse's opportunity to be a GREAT mouse.

I'm pretty huge when it comes to extra keys on a mouse since i've been using a Razer Naga for the past 5 years. I really wanted something different, a different feel and form factor. However since my extensive use with Razer Naga, I feel this is a bit short coming on what I would have utilized this for. Perhaps for FPS style gaming this would work very well. Build quality is great and the buttons feel nice when depressed, however I feel as though the side buttons require direct inward presses as I have noticed that slightly angled press may not register 100% of the time. I would actually give this 4 and a half stars but it doesn't seem like my browser or Amazon will allow me to put that "half" star.

Love the feel and the buttons but I have had software issues with Macro Engine not recognizing the mouse at all. Best guess is there's a software conflict on my desktop but I cannot figure out with what. After trying to get it to work for a few hours I gave up and programmed my profiles on my laptop, on which Macro Engine has no problem. Works fine on my desktop now as all my profiles are saved in the onboard memory. I have an email in with Aorus to see if they can tell me what Macro Engine doesn't play nice with. I will update my rating if that happens.

The software wouldn't recognize the mouse. I tried different ports, restarted the computer, but no. Someone had suggested trying another computer - it's impractical to do that every time I want to reconfigure the mouse.
