A very nice point driver made of quality materials. If you do any sort of framing this point driver is a must. If you need your backing board tight this tool places flat pointed brads for a tight fit. Very easy to use for that perfect, tight framed art piece.

I purchased a Fletcher point driver about 20 years ago. It served me well until a couple of weeks back when it jammed and I couldn't un-jam it. Oh well... I can't complain about a product that worked great for 20 years. I bought another without reservation.

This is my second one, wore first one out (trigger spring worn out) It was purchased in 2010. Can get picture tight to matte with no buckling (from the watercolor paper being buckled during painting) Easy to use. Very overpriced, Its plastic cased with metal parts, but compared to the cost to have pictures framed at the store, over time will pay for itself.

If you do any framing at all, do yourself a favor and buy this amazing and very versatile and helpful tool. For years I used little nails, a staple gun, tape—-none of them worked as well as this stapler.

Ordered this twice. First time it was destroyed in the mail. Received a replacement. Initially tried it out and it seemed to be OK. Now when I have framing to do only one point came out. Had to clear a jam twice, then the points wouldn’t shoot out but 1/4”. Then a metal piece fell out, looks like the piece that pushed the points it! Waste of money and I missed the date of return, despite my testing it when I first received it. This is my second Fletcher, my first one lasted 30 years- disappointed in the product.

I build my own picture frames and usually use oak to fabricate my mouldings. Brads have often resulted in broken glass. The Fletcher tool was offered for loan by my neighbor. After a couple of time borrowing, It was time to get my own. Comparing the retail cost of just a couple of frames, my cost is more than covered.

excellent tool for doing the back of my frames. very happy with it.

seems robust. easy to use. only shot 100 or so points so far but im satisfied. recoil hurts the hand after a while.

Every now and then a pin doesn’t come out and it jammed temporarily once… but after two weeks of work with it, I love it.

I have had a Fletcher Terry Driver before, and loved it, whether this one is just working out quirks I don't know. It misfires every third framer point. I hope it is a quirk as my last driver lasted close to 30 years.
