I got this manual coffee grinder as my electric one "broke" (thank you, little one!). Bonus for the fact that this coffee grinder comes with a filter to use your grounds for fresh coffee anywhere you want it. Personally, this is intended for use at home, but once we go camping it will be put to the test.I did test out the filter part of the cup with already ground coffee, and it did not disappoint. Clean up is very easy. I just wish I had this coffee grinder before!!Update review; I managed to grind beans with different consistencies, and managed to fine tune how I wanted my beans to come out. To make it a finer grind, I pressed on the bottom part of the grinder and twisted the top to get it where I wanted it.Only downfall is that you can only get a few spoons of beans in the holder and then grind away to get your coffee beans the way you want.

I bought this on a whim during a lightning sale and it far exceeded my expectations. It’s made well and “feels” good and sturdy, not like a cheaply made product. Grinder is solid, filter is well made mesh. Made nice dark oily coffee. It lets a bit of sediment through on the finer grind but I put in one of the little round aero press paper filters in the bottom and it works beautifully for me. Very happy with this!

I but this because I like freshly ground coffee every morning and I'm not always near a grinder. I was suspicious of hand credit coffee grinders, but want to give this a try and it works extraordinary well.

I am big fan of this device. My only wish is that the inside of the drinking cup weren't metallic painted plastic. Otherwise, it totally works but likely not healthy to use for frequent consumption, due to metallic plastic cup lining. Please advise otherwise. After enjoying this, I'm looking to upgrade to stainless steel.

Used this on a 2-week vacation traveling across the Pacific Northwest. Bought a bag of locally-roasted beans, brought a coffee scoop and a travel mug, and I had fresh roasted and ground coffee each morning. The only downside was that the beans would occasionally jump out of the hopper while grinding; but I found that if I filled the hopper with the maximum 2 scoops that there was less loss of beans. I’m not sure how long the handle of the grinder will hold out, but for occasional traveling, it provides what I was looking for. Very easy to clean, especially the grinder itself. I am happy with this product.
