Bought for home use to check my family's ears, mainly for cleanliness, but works to detect infection as well. Works great, especially for the price.

Piece of junk! I bought it to use in an online nursing assessment class. It minimally acceptable for looking in the ears and nose. As long as you can hold the attachment to the main frame it is poor to fair, because it does not screw together, it's just contact that lights it up. Using the ophthalmolscope is almost impossible because that really is 2 handed job and you need one just to hold the thing together. Maybe I can find a use for it in the shop.

Box apparent but poorly finished presentation. Ophthalmoscope poor quality. Otoscope acceptable. Laryngoscope incomplete. Rhinoscope acceptable. Fair value for money.

As a nursing student required to do a head to toe exam I needed an ophthalmoscope and otoscope. This set is a good value for the price; you get a lot of instruments. I believe the quality is very basic though. I was disappointed that there were no instructions at all with the set; not even describing the batteries required. This is alright if you need a very basic set.

it works for its purpose, i needed it for school. i wonder if the bad reviews are due to not knowing how to use it. i took away a star because of no battery information. but its good for its price. it does feel cheap but as long as it works. thanks

The opthalmascope head stopped working almost immediately. It sufficed to fake the use of it for a video exam. You really can't expect much for the price and it is definitely not useful for anything except as a movie prop.
