Times Tables Challenge

great CD delivered super fast

I very rarely review products on Amazon but I have had to make an exception here. I bought this cd for my 7 yr old daughter who struggles with her tables a little, the chants are very traditional which is how I and all my contemporaries learned the tables so no complaints here. She likes listening to it in the car and likes the challenge. Meanwhile my 2 yr old son has picked up the chants simply by being in the car too and now knows all his times tables too so I am a very happy customer! I only wish that they went up to 12 and not 10, I can't understand why they did that. But overall I would highly recommend.

I bought this 'sing along' CD to help my Year 4 class learn their times tables. I was therefore disappointed to discover that the 'songs' are actually just the tables being spoken to a musical background! If, like myself, you are looking for a CD with some catchy songs to help your children learn their tables, I wouldn't recommend this CD. All other aspects are good though with all tables being spoken clearly and the opportunity to test your knowledge on CD 2.

This CD has nice catchy songs and does upto the 12 times table. But each table only goes upto 10 x and so I had to add on 11 x is ? and 12 x is ? at the end of each one, which is rather annoying. It also confused my children when singing along because of the way they said each one eg: 'one times two is two' and at school they learn it 'once two is two'. Hope this helps!

I have previosly owned a copy of this cd but a colleague borrowed it and liked it so much that I didn't get it back, hence buying another copy.

Well I thought this was going to help my son. It was good for a few mins but then became boring and annoying. Would not buy again.

I found this CD to be excellent for my son to learn his tables. Last year he was in Year 3 and he learnt all his tables using this. We only listened to it for about 10 mins a day on the way to the childminder in the morning and he learnt them all really well :)He loved all the songs and we named the different types of music each table was sung to!!I'd definitely recommend it to any children trying to learn these boring tables!!!!!
