Glycine Watch Airman DC-4. The new AIRMAN DC 4 is Glycines way of paying tribute to the DC 4 built by American aircraft manufacturer Douglas Aircraft Company which was, to a great extent, the inspiration for the conception and birth of the legendary pilot watch AIRMAN in 1953. The DC 4 is controlled by an automatic rhodanised GL 293 Swiss movement. Following the purist footsteps of the original AIRMAN, it has an exclusive market position as a 24 hour watch with two time zones. If preferred however, the AIRMAN DC 4 can also be used as a normal 12 hour watch with the additional feature of a 24 hour GMT display on the bezel.
