Andalou Naturals Lavender Hand Cream, Shea Butter Hand Lotion, 3.4 oz

I use several Andalou products for two very important reasons: They do help and they are never tested on animals! I love this hand cream because it absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy feeling. The lavender scent is lovely. It's not a large tube but it does last a very long time even with daily use.

My boss got us hand lotion when COVID started because we are healthcare workers and washing our hands 3 times between patients was making our hands bleed and look like we were about 105 years old. This lotion was so AMAZING that I had to come find it and buy a lot more. I went through it quickly, but it's so worth it. The smell is light and citrus-y so it isn't offensive to patients and it's the only lotion that has actually provided me with relief. I wish I had a picture of my charting area right now with my 6 other lotion bottles there that I've tried because it's comical but also a little sad. The closest I could find that nourished my hands the way this lotion does was some lotion designed for babies. I was getting desperate... so when I got this lotion I was skeptical, but it's amazing. Even better that it's natural, and serves a good cause. I mean, it doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend this lotion and this scent in particular. It's small enough to be carried around in your purse too so I bought one for my purse, one for work, and one for the car. I'm covered. They have another scent that is supposed to be Lavender and I tried that one, but it was a bit too overpowering and smelled more mint-y than lavender in my opinion so I don't care for that one. But this one is great. Get it and do your hands a favor.

This hand cream smells amazing — light lavender, not overpowering. It absorbs quickly and leaves hands soft without feeling oily. Great everyday moisturizer and perfect size for bags or the car. Love this brand.

I love this hand cream! I bought some lovely hand cream on vacation from the England Soap company that I love. Its almost impossible to find that in the US. I asked Claude for comparative creams and this was one it recommended and I love it! It smells great and has a nice consistency. My hands love it! Its not full of junky ingredients either.

I really do like this hand cream a lot. I love every Andalou product I've tried. (If you haven't tried their Argan Stem Cell hair regrowing shampoo and conditioner (whatever it's called - in the blue bottles) try them. They really work! Seriously. Anyway, this hand cream works very well, but I just don't like the scent. Figured I would try something different. Well, I just ordered the lavender for my second bottle. We'll give that a go instead. It is thick enough, with a lasting feel, that makes this a good-quality product. I have unusually dry skin and am always dehydrated. I don't have to reapply this as often as other brands.

I have been a long time user of Andalou products and I love using them. Their ingredients are clean and natural. This cream is thick/rich, absorbs well, and smells like real lavender! With one use I feel like my hands have been revived from the cold weather. I am very pleased and you will be too :)

This is one of my favorites! It smells heavenly and moisturizes my hands quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky residue on your hands.

I originally bought the Clementine Hand Cream a couple of years ago from a local co-op. It's been my go to hand cream, especially in the winter. I am absolutely obsessed with the scent! When I finally was very low on the product, I decided to order it from Amazon. I moved 2 years ago and my new local co-op doesn't carry this. Anyway... I just broke the seal and put a bit on my hands. Immediately I was put off by the scent! It smells more like grapefruit than clementine. I'd find it acceptable if it smelled of mandarin, orange or blood orange, but grapefruit is bitter smelling (and tasting)! Initially, I thought they changed the formula or sold their company to a different company. I compared the new tube to the old tube, and the name, address, even ingredients are identical. Then, I thought maybe the Citrus Clementina (Clementine) Fruit Oil was sourced from more bitter or unripe clementines? Then I noticed more differences... The old tube reads on the back "Organic sea buckthorn oil, fair trade shea and cocoa..." and the new tube reads on the back "Organic coconut water, fair trade shea and cocoa..." According to BOTH packages' ingredients lists, the Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil is Certified Organic, BUT there is no mention of Coconut Water on the old tube, and there is nothing Coconut in either list of ingredients!!! The old tube has the Non GMO Project Verified logo/seal and the new tube does not... The front of the tubes have different statements about "A Path of Light". 100% of net profir from the first bottle went to that organization or charity, and the new bottle just says "your purchase supports...". Also, the weight is the same, but worded differently - "3.4 fl oz e 100 mL" versus " 3.4 FL oz/100 mL". The font is smaller and finer on the the new tube, and is most evident on the back of the tube. "Distributed by Andalou Naturals..." is now above the "Made in the USA with domestic and imported materials." in the new tube. Also included is a phone number, which didn't exist on the old tube. The tubes themselves are slightly different in materials or appearance. The old one is frosty or shimmery, and the shimmer shines through the graphic design and colored print. The new one is still shimmery, but much less so, and the graphics and colored print are opaque and block the frostiness from showing through. The purple squares on the front graphics are pixelated or rough looking and muddy, like the ink skipped on the new tube. The old tube's cap is taller than the new tube as well. I believe the tube itself may be slightly taller. Also, it doesn't seem to be as thick as my first tube, because a very small amount went a very long way on my dry skin! My old tube was thicker and didn't go as far as the new product. TL;DR Either this is not an authentic Andalou Naturals product OR they've changed things enough that I've noticed all of the differences and thought it fishy enough to say all that. I've attached photos of the tubes side by side to show the different verbiage, the finer and smaller print on the new bottle, the missing Non GMO logo, and other things noted in my review. It's not as easy to see that the old bottle is more shimmery, or that the new bottle is more matte (or differences in glossiness). In each of my 3 photos, the old bottle is on the right and the new bottle is on the left.

My husband wanted a cream he could use at work; something that was thick and creamy, absorbs quickly and had a light citrusy scent (his words!). I ordered this for him and it fits the bill. I’ve used It a few times and am impressed with the consistency - its thick like body butter but absorbs really quickly!

Advertised as pack of 6 but only 1 came. I sent it back for a refund.

Very happy with the product! I will buy again.
